I might pick up an extra Berserker to mod into Crankcase, and maybe an extra Hound for a custom.

I agree on the plastic weight vs accuracy!! I have a Wreckers collection and wanted to buy the Generations Scoop, but couldn't bring myself to buying it due him being almost completely hollow in robot mode.

And come to think of it, the fact that he was hollow wasn't really my issue, but the fact that they didn't even try to hide it. They could've had hinged panels that closed all the hollow parts on the back of the robot mode, but just left everything wide open instead.

I thought SS Ratchet was decently size. I'm gonna have to line then all vehicle mode and see where Ratchet stands next to everyone else.

01 Bumblebee. Mine doesn't have any quality control issues, and it's a superb update of my favorite form of my favorite movie character.
    Well, I like Bumblebee's face.

    Beautiful.
I have an idea, you probably won't like it but why don't you buy some die-cast cars (from the movies) that are in scale with each other and the robot mode. You could customize them to look like the movie and put the figures next to their car so you can have them roughly in scale and you can display them next to their vehicle mode.

    Maybe something like this:

He scales well with dotm bb optimus and deluxe ironhide but thats about it..
Agree with you on the other counts ;-)
Nice idea but I like transformers so I want them to transform. I dont want to take up double the space on just one figure so nice idea but not my thing

    20181018_192404.jpg 'killer boots, kid'!

Honestly, prime cliffjumper is one step away from being a passable movieverse guy.
More mechanical detailing, particularly on the legs and much better arms and he's there.

In my opinion, robot mode scale is more important than vehicle mode scale because I display my figures almost entirely in robot mode. If I wanted the vehicle modes to be in scale, I wouldn't be collecting Transformers figures. I would be collecting models of the vehicle modes.

He could easily be retooled into car-mode Shatter, I think.

I could see that with the FE one because of the limb shapes but the chest would have to be almost completely redesigned.

In that case it might be easier with the Revealer version, since he has a faux chest already.

I think the FE one would work better out of either of them mainly because the RID version’s proportions are more akin to an ape while Shatter has the more human aesthetic of the FE version. I’m not sure I could see either of them fitting without some drastic redesigning.

It is up to everyone to choose how they collect, I display them in both modes whenever I feel like TRANSFORMING them. Robot scale to me is not realistic since there is no such thing.
The robots CAN NOT be in scale since they are not consistent in the movies.
In every scene they are in, they change the size of the CGI's to “fit the frame” all we have is a made-up scale of fictional figures portrayed by CGI renders.
Why dont you just collect the robot replica’s ? If you don’t transform them?
The vehicles ARE real so they CAN be scaled. And if I wanted to collect model cars, I would have, I collect Transformers.

Sorry to be rude about it but I collect ROBOTS IN DISGUISE.. meaning they fit in a actual vehicle!! And if a Lamborghini is bigger than a Hummer H2 or a Peterbild truck things are wrong for me.

It is nice to hear you are content with robots that may or may not be in scale or “kinda” match together.. the fact they used real cars in the movies sparked MY imagination and made me happy!
The fact you CAN drive a car like Bumblebee or Crosshairs, The Twins or Drift and Jazz and get excited to recognize real parts you see on the cgi robots..
that makes it fun for me.
Why don’t we all just enjoy collecting together and stop bashing people that collect in another fashion. Just be happy with your “kinda in scale CGI renders of Fictional robots loosly based on vehicles” and I collect REAL Vehicles that transform into Robots.

I have a simple rule for robot scale, leaders should be taller than their troops, and bad guys must be same hight or larger than the good guys. (I hate decepticons that are shorter than the ones they fight.
