The time dilation of what's happened in MTMTE is between months and years from the rest of the 'verse. It'll be interesting to see come the end of the books, the Lost Light returns, everyone's got something on them to reflect more off panel adventures, and the first thing Rodimus says is "What'd we miss?"

I got to admit the art is absolutely gorgeous but Unicron\'s scale does seem a bit off at some points I figured that would happen sooner or later I mean it can\'t be helped when your drawing something this big. While I have enjoyed this series despite it\'s faults Optimus will definitely continue to be me favourite character, however that being said I\'m really having a hard time keeping track of the rights and wrongs in this series in regards to the morally grey aspects. How John Barber intends to conclude this is beyond me. I guess we\'ll just have to wait and see, while keeping an open mind set.

I like that the more shadowy art of OP makes Unicron look darker and more intimidating as he looms over Earth out of the blackness of space.

I find it interesting that this rendition of Prime appears to be so similar to his G1 self on the surface, but is actually very different. With quotes like "freedom of is the right of all sentient beings", and a stubborn dedication to his unwillingness to cause any harm to innocent, sentient life (which actually caused his death in the Marvel comics), a Prime that focuses on the "big picture" is definitely alien to me! I've always liked the idea that his inability to do harm is his ultimate weakness, as is the case with most classic superhero types.

Having said this, I've yet to read any of the IDW Prime comics, so maybe there's something I don't know.

Incorrect. I care about Optimus, Thundercracker, Buster, Arcee, and Marissa. Everyone else can burn in the fires of Unicron.

    Huh. I'd completely forgotten that!

I'll do YOU one better! WHY is Ironhide and Aileron?!

    ...

    I'll show myself out.
