    This seems like the sort of event you'd have the weekend before the film opens. Why are they doing so much promo now when the film doesn't come out until December? Weird.

    It looks like they are promoting the merchendise as much (if not more) than the movie itself. It is october... notice all the costumes?

    Good point, but even that feels weird. I can understand Star Wars toys coming out three months before the film, it's Star Wars after all. But the Bumblebee movie?
