Silver metallic paint in vehicle mode -- HURRAH!

Light colored face in bot mode -- BOO! HISS!

 

 

Yeah. I am very happy with the two hands, but the light windshield and face are a bummer. I am sure Repolabels can fix the windshield or I can fix it with a Gundam marker.

The face is more problematic with my level of skill (or lack of skill). Plus since their aesthetic is Sunbow G1 doesn't make any sense. I would expect Iron Factory with their IDW influence to use a light gray face.

Now can MS super-oversize this mold to MP scale and raise the price to around 100$? I am currently up "you-know-what's creek without a paddle" and don't have an MP Trailbreaker representation on my season 1 shelf....

FT hung us out to dry, XTB is sold out everywhere, and I don't like the MMC or BC aesthetics and size.......

face sculpt looks great. but the rest is just a little blah.

 

Could use some better paint choices, but an easy enough fix once I get my hands on the figure.

Interesting. I am liking the light colored face, and i am ok with the windshield, but the two hands bother me... Just curious, but what alternative color would you have the face and the windshield?

 

For the face either the same shade as the rest of the head or darker grey.

For the windows a navy or metallic blue like the Hasbro legend. But looking at pictures of the cartoon lighter is closer to his Sunbow design, I can live that a lot easier than the grey face.

Neither is enough to stop me from picking it up though.

 

Would have minded if the white was silver and the black was painted darker black, but i have my beachcomber right in front of me, and the white on it with combination of silver detailed chest / visor and the blue bare plastic seems good in person, so this might be good. Happy with the face though.

 

Definitely darker gray. Mine will be getting touched up when he arrives.

Magic Square is all about dat hip thrust
