one pack of the generic brand at my local Lowe's was more than enough to do both feet on Monstructor and Dinoking, so its a pretty quick cheap fix!

FP not including them in this mold is all the proof i need its a different designer from the other MT/FP combiners, sadly

For the benefit of the rest of us, is this what you’re referencing?

    that is exactly it!

They come in strips, you can cut them with scissors. So simple, and FP/MT have already done it on other combiner feet so not doing it here was a real oversight, ESPECIALLY since the hips and legs are pretty poorly designed

I also slung some rubber on the feet - which really does make a WORLD of difference.

Although it’s true that this is definitely the weakest of the combiners at this scale. There’s no way the same designer worked on this and MT Quantron and Guardia. MT’s efforts are outstanding with many strong aspects of each mode. IMHO Beastructor’s strongest mode is combined but that still ain’t perfect.

Nah, pretty sure Beastructor's designer is the same guy that did Steelcore and the FP Dinobots.

That guy moved to Fanshobby (specifically the monsterbots). While Beastructor's design was ready before he moved, I think the head was (fortunately) designed by someone else.

Don't think he did Steelcore, atleast I can't spot any signature stylings. Steelcore is kinda of an anomaly in the FP catalog...unless it was confirmed he did Steel ofcourse.

Unfortunately Saurus was a different design team and it's very blatant. The review for this one isn't going to be fun but needs to be done.

Be sure to give extra credit for the extreme color palette! :)

Looking forward to watching it, as always @Kuma Style

I don't think it's ever been confirmed outright, but I lump Steelcore in with the Dinos because I feel there's some aesthetic similarity in there. Sludge/Columpio in particular feels a lot like Steelcore in the way he's shaped. It's a vague connection to be sure, but that's my gut instinct.

One thing I'm certain of, however, is that Steelcore wasn't designed by the same guy as the other Warbots.

I can see that. The FH monsterbots are big but very simple design wise, this mold has a lot of the same sensibilities and limitations

    It looks so good.

The possibility of Hasbro actually releasing a Monstructor box set gets lower every day, so I may need to pick this guy up.

Anyone heard anything out GCI toys about this set?

I can't even find the listing on their site now.

Thanks. They seem honest enough. Probably just my impatience.
