I think the legs are the part of this figure that is ostensibly based on Studio Ox art.

Judging by that pic with MP Hot Rod posted MMC Azalea looks even shorter than him, that is somewhat a bummer,I wanted her to be a little taller, but its not a deal breaker by any means I just wanted her to scale better with other 3P MP's.

She looks more like a robot first and a woman second. The thing you dislike is one of the reaons I like it. Its an esthetic choice.

...yeah, this is the first figure to capture the essence of arcee's character to my eyes; the other offerings all feel like assorted manner of awkward cosplay...

...here all i see are mom jeans, child-bearing hips, and death by snu-snu, respectively...

    ...but this?..it's arcee!..

honestly I dont see it ... i get where your coming from tho .. i dont think any of the other ones hit the mark either, like Rouge's thighs are a bit too long, her facesculpts are not 100% arcee and MMC's backpack is somewhat cleaner... but other that I just cant get past all those ugly panel lines on the chest. Cant say I agree with you about all the others looking more like a 'women', yeah the zeta and generations/ wei jiang have waaay too round and humanoid bellies and hips, but with Rouge you have the option of different chest chapes( I personally prefer the more accurate angular chest and all id change about the hips is make them a little more squared like in the cartoon.

The thing I dislike? So you like those panel lines being there rather than having a cleaner/smoother surface? Not trying to pick a fight here or anything guys, I honestly just wanna understand where you lot are coming from cus I just don't see it

Of course we'd all like the toys to be perfect and lineless. But that'll never happen. Every toy is 'settling' to some degree or other. We just have different standards. Which is fine, but not worth arguing about, because they're entirely subjective.

Tho I must agree, the head sculpt looks like it has the potential to be spot on, given the correct paint job.

lool im not trying to say I expect it to be lineless, thats just not possible, but im just saying that if the other 3 managed to get a more clean looking chest , why couldnt MMC?

I didn't say that you expected it to be lineless. I'm just saying that everyone prioritises different things. You obviously want less lines. Other people obviously want something else and view the lines as a tradeoff they're willing to make. We all have opinions and priorities.

Personally, my perspective is that I bought FT's based on looks. In hand, though, I hated it. Rouge is just no fun to pose and torture to actually transform. On looks alone Rouge might win, but I'm ready to replace her with Azalea because Azalea looks good enough but might actually be fun to mess with.

I've been curious about this one since I saw the first pics. Every time I see this thread, I want Azalea more. Sorry Rouge, you were so close and yet so far!

Yes, I like it. She has more character/presence than the others. Would I have still liked her with a more G1 breastplate? Yes. Would I have liked her more than the current one? Probably not.

Yeah, but that still puts her all over the place. Man Studio Ox art is ugly for this figure.

I'm really looking forward to her. No such thing as too many Arcees!

    I know the feeling!

Still, I think MMC's is going to be at least top 3 material.
