How likely will Hasbro release this? Not too keen spending $75+ on this.

 

If they don't show it next week at NYCC, I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

I suspect they will bring it over eventually as a store exclusive with a different paint job.

 

i do hope they make a screen accurate optimus tho like in the trailer. i wanted this and i still do but i want the g1 style more

it has the color scheme but not the mold

 

So this is up for preorder at TFSource. The description and pics show that it can connect to the original G1 trailer. So how big is this thing actually supposed to be? I got the impression that it was scaled up from the original Evasion mold, but that one was the same size as G1 Prime, so wouldn't this new one be roughly the same size as well?

 

Not sure whether Hasbro will release Leader class Legendary Optimus Prime but Takara will be releasing this Leader class Legendary Optimus Prime soon.

 

That’s the Masterpiece MP-10 trailer, so this guy is actually about Leader class size.

This thing is like $50 at HLJ. Depending on shipping, it might not reach $75, especially if you bulk ship your items or use SAL.

 

I paid about $50 from Amazon JP. Shipping came out to about $25, but it's fast shipping. I wish I had a good estimate for shipping so I can decide if HLJ is worth it. I don't import enough to bulk ship or I'd go that route.

 

Gonna pass on this guy. I've already got the WJ version so I can't justify it,and WJ could release their Evasion Prime with this color scheme.

 

WeiJiang's isn't even comparable with this because they aren't even in the same scale. This scales with current Leader Class figures whereas WeiJiang's scales with nothing. It would be nice if Takara decided to upscale and retool AOE Galvatron and Studio Series Lockdown to fit with this figure, as that would make a pretty nice display, IMO.

Unless you don't like AOE Primes design, Challenger is about as good as it's going to get. It's as good as any Takara MP, though it's paint job isn't as pretty as it could be. Engineering is amazeballs.

I've had Rotf Leader Prime, Buster Prime , El Cid MPM 4 and LT-02 and Challenger laps them all with the exception of paint on buster Prime and El Cid.

I'm also doin an Evolution of Prime shelf. Evasion Prime looks suitable , though his height concerns me. Wei Jiang Evasion Prime is a bit too tall for my tastes, though if this guy is too short, I'm going to purchase it. I'd prefer an actual MPM, but some articulated hands go far.

I wonder if we'll ever get MP Primes from Animated or Prime. I'd really love a MP Animated Prime or TFP Prime.
