I can't wait for the Studio Series Barricade. But in the mean time, My MPM Barricade is filling the void.

Bro the MPM is the definitive version of the character, your void should already be filled! Unless your collection focus is primarily studio series scale, in which case I understand

I need it's wheels bumpers and sideskirts, and possibly the rear spoiler also.
The Saleen bodykit is quite different compared to a gt version.

Gave in and picked up a second copy from TRU to display only, for 70 bucks Canadian why not. Weirdly though, the second copy's shoulders and the forearm covers lock into place with and audible click.

One of the elbows in my MPM-5 is quite loose out of the packaging... Is the joint held together by a pin or a screw?! Does anyone have a similar problem?!

Are you referring to the transformation joint that moves the shoulder upward and downward?!

You suggesting a running change where the shoulder joint locks? If so, I am v intrigued. Pics?

It's a pin. My copies dont have loose elbows per say but the weight of the weapon can make the arms hard to pose. Having said that I don't really use the weapon because I don't like the look of it/the look of the arm when it is connected.

Yes the swivel that connects the shoulder to the torso.

I dont think they changed any parts, they could have adjusted the tension in the pin. Maybe I just got super lucky on the new copy. What would you like for pictures? Everything visible between the copies is identical.

Eh it’s alright, if it’s identical no need. I thought they physically remolded parts

I honestly thought they might have changed something but it's just appears that tolerances can vary.

Maybe your first one was a KO? Is police painted on the same part in the back of the car on both?

The ko had different tolerances shoulders being the worst as they sag.

It's been mentioned that the actual figures of Takara Barricade and Hasbro Barricade are identical but I have spotted 2 very minor differences.
1: The windows on the TT are slightly smokey/tinted whereas the Hasbro is totally clear.
2: The screws on the TT are black as opposed to silver screws on the Hasbro.
