I was going off of this logo that @JoshFinn posted on the last page:

which has the diagonal eye-lines meet at the nose. The movie logo you just posted does indeed look like the logo on Prowl. Jut with the triangle fixed, like you said.

Anyway, it was fun discussing! :D

Ah yeah, it's a sublte difference alright. It's not as overt Bay as the actual movie logos, but it's enough to bug me haha

Always good being able to talk about this minutiae with someone :thumb

I might never have noticed that the eyes were slightly angled if eagle eyed @Sam never pointed it out! Almost wish you hadn't haha - it makes no sense but it's such a small thing it's not really a bother to me. That unpainted gun barrel is some bullshit, though. I'm still excited about this guy, don't get me wrong, especially in this G1 MP drought we're in. I'd rather have him than not and he's still closer to what I want than the og release, but the insignia, gun barrell, and black neck plate and bicep joints only reinforce my suspicion that the TT Mall/Hasbro Asia releases are decoed by a low level TT grunt. Again, I'd rather have guys like Skywarp, Thundercracker, and the Coneheads than not, but their decos are almost always off the mark.

Can anyone confirm if this release has the added flight stand hole like the previous to + releases? How firm are the joints? Gotta say that the grey they used makes one of the best face sculpts in the line look even better!

Nope, not falling down that rabbit hole. :p

Closest I'll get are some of the Dialcones like Blue Bluestreak, Exhaust and the upcoming Cordon.

I don't recall, did Prowl ever use the over the shoulder launchers? Or the rounded white ones?

Not really, but Bluestreak was sometimes mis-coloured as Prowl :thumb

Definitely no appearance of the big toy launchers in the toon.

Never in the cartoon. Bluestreak was miscolored a time or two as Prowl, though, a screenshot of which was used in the original MP Prowl's instructions to justify his launchers.

He never did in the US Marvel comics either. Not sure about the UK material.

    *EDIT* Ninja'd by @Sam !

You can always toss them on Ebay, saw some going for $20 on there for a pair.

I do like the blue windows, but I'll stick with the Prowl I already have

Yeah, including the toy homage launchers on an animation homage release is a bit goofy, but I'm sure they're throwing in accessories into the + releases that weren't included with the originals to make them more enticing to anyone on the fence.

    True true.

Can't wait for mine to arrive. I dumped my mp17 when this was announced....I'm ready for a Prowl on my shelf again.

Eh, TBH I never would’ve noticed if someone hadn’t pointed it out. The bay logo is VERY similar in overall shape to the toon autobot logo, honestly not surprised that someone may have sent over the wrong jpeg.
