Makes sense since tfsource usually gets all their stuff last. They are buying cheaper from 3rd party sources. Makes me glad I stopped using them

Well it’s not just the name that’s different. It’s the team behind it. The products were zeta’s designs but being released under toyworld policy and marketing. Now zeta is selling their own product and have the possibility of doing something different. I’m hoping we do get tones of redecos though.
    Not at all.

I'm just going to have to hope they end up selling some out right I want the extra head...

The toon chest piece is far higher on my wants list though and we have some members working on that so I'll be happy to give them my $ when the time comes.

    WARNING!

Upon checking out the Large trailer mode on Onslaught (spoiler alert, it really sucks the middle panel doesn't even hold, it's super weak) I noticed on the Right side thigh joint... REALLY BADLY applied glue. Now it came like that... I was not the one who put glue on that part... it was like this... Now I didnt think too much about it, except it was badly applied and looked bad... But then upon transforming the leg back into robot mode (from wide trailer mode) I noticed the Glue SNAPPED, the joint is not broken the joint still works, rotates and eveything... but the GLUE holding the joint was stressed and it SNAPPED in 2. THAT IS SCARY AS HELL! I'm guessing it wont take much for the joint to snap as well if the glue holding it broke off. So just a word of advice to every owner out there... BE CAREFULL WITH THE LEGS!

    Here's a pict:

But thats the thing... it's not technically broken... the glue let go... but the joint still seems to hold perfectly.

Another thing, Anyone Knows What is the use of the rotating Front wheels of the truck? Like on the forearms, the front wheel truck can be Slid down, and rotated, and snapped back up. its not mentioned in the instructions (like 80% of all other things) it has no uses in robot mode because the "elbow panels" wont fit anymore, obviously no uses in truck mode, and also not used in combined mode... but that transformation step exist. I am making a video review that will upload throughout the night, I'll post it here and mark the time where I talk about the wheel transformation so you get a visual of it.

That looks great. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. If everything goes well, I'm in on purchasing one from you.

That's a good idea. I really like how the upper part of Vortex arm mode looks (minus the hands) in the picture that Zeta released earlier showing off the new Bruticus head. The addition of some kind of shield-like cover that has two "wings" for the front and back could give Vortex's arm mode a more toon look.

Sadly my skills in design are minus zero. I wonder if @TigerBlade or @ShadowOfSilver have any ideas or if it is even possible. They are our resident "mad scientists" after all. :)

    Already one step ahead.....

I've got a friend coming round today who's very good at cad. He's gonna finish off the chest plate whilst I finish off the Vortex upper shoulder pads I started last night and do a part that solidifies Swindle's knee connection that I have an idea to sort. Once all printed and painted I'll get pics.

The only question then is how to get it out. Shapeways will be expensive but I guess ppl could pick and choose what they want. Other than that ppl would need to be patient for me to print as I could take a few requests.

We'll see how it goes first.

Why not put it as a download link on shapeways so people can just print the design? Most people should be able to find someone who can print it?

You mean something like tinkercad? That’d work well.

When you upload to shapeways you can set it to make downloads of stl files available.

You can do it on Thingverse too. I'll speak to the guy who designed it, it's upto him ultimately. Here's the finished v2, currently printing:

    FB_IMG_1537620921419.jpg

    FB_IMG_1537620924014.jpg

Needs a single pin swap to swap the neck piece on. We decided to leave the connection that attaches it to the torso but all the pegs are in place to make it super secure.

After this has printed I'll print the Swindle and Vortex pieces and if they fit right I'll look into how to get it out.

I should have known that you would already be working on it. I would personally prefer to order directly from you because I would like to have the parts painted as well because my painting skills are near zero.

    Cool. Looks great.
