There's a clash of styles here. The truck looks old and yet the bot mode looks super modern. I am not sure I can pass judgement until I see the colored version.

Question to those who have the PE PC-16 figure. You think the ball joint shoulders would be able to support all the additional stuff on his arms and that huge-ass rifle?

 

No, but in the facebook post accompanying these new photos Perfect Effect made a note that they have changed the ball jointed shoulders to ratcheted shoulders in their newest iterations of this design.

 

Actually holds up ok-ish , but they modded the shoulders for jetpower revive . Here’s pc-16 holding the two huge swords from pe on one arm

That's good to know. Though, on the gray proto I still see that ugly ball on the side of the cab. Isn't that the shoulder joint?

In any case, it doesn't matter anymore since I decided to pull the trigger on a pre-order from Hobbybase a few minutes ago. $100 for this seems like a steal, for some reason.

That looks incredible. I had no issue with the movie aesthetic, but even I wish the movie designs looked like this. That's one big, sexy beast.

So with these Movieverse deluxes next to him... Can anyone compare him to their previous Prime/Magnus for the PotP/CW upgrades?

I will seriously preorder this guy and hunt for the Prime Magnus trailers if he can use all three.

 

Really like this. I reckon its as close as we're gonna get to that awesome prime-1statue in toy form, this could well end up being my go to movie prime.

 

Considering I already have P.C.-16, 17 and 20 I won’t be buying this. But if they did a shattered glass version I’d probably bite

 

That is the beauty of it; imo.
Going all Bay on it would bring me down. This leaves it up to your imagination.
