If they would offer the wing fillers with a new head, a foldable but flap and movable air intakes as a upgrade kit, people wouldn’t complain so much about paying for it.
Personally I don’t care, if they cost some bucks, I’m sure the price will be relatively low.
By the way, didn’t Fans Hobby do the same with their new hands (or head) for power baser?

"i just assumed"? You havent mentioned the main point of people who complainis that this "upgrade" isnt for free...Nobody complains about them making the upgrade...So yeah like i said ,you completely missed the point...Its like selling you a brand new car with something faulty and then "oh wait we fucked up but if you want it fixed you have to pay for it" If thats okay with you i dont know what to tell you

Tony just sent the parts to me without getting their newest figure so thats not true
    Entitlement?Are you serious?lol

In addition to Scoria’s updated face plates & Soar’s updated face. They only offered it if you bought the other Dino’s though so that’s the trick. It was free but was it really??

Ironically it seems you missed my last post. Or didn't read it because you're trying to give me an anology of what I've already said. Bravo sir. I've not once said what they're doing is right (or wrong for that matter), that's just you assuming again, I'm merely pointing out the fact fans can never be pleased. Hence Maketoys are damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Now please stop assuming things and get back to complaining about Maketoys doing something fans wanted. At this point ppl either buy it or they don't, either way I'm sure there'll be a good moan along the way.

I don't count updated faces as necessary so I don't expect FT to give them out for free but Sever's filler and Soar's knee cap are surely to cover design faults.

I am sure if you offer to pay for the shipping, FT will send you Sever's filler and Soar's knee cap for free even if you don't buy other figures.

So if it happens Makeotys are only asking shipping fee for the wings' fillers, I will be very happy but I seriously doubt it.

Add to that the fact that while Galaxy Meteor is clearly well designed, they used the cheapest thinnest plastic available...in hand you can tell that whoever designed it clearly had better things in mind for the weight, I think it may have been originally intended to have die-cast.

On the one hand, I'm happy that they're addressing complaints about regular Meteor with the wing fillers, but on the other it doesn't solve my biggest complaints: bad head and a lack of a flight stand. How do you even display a jet without a flight stand?

I wish I had $2500 lying around so I could make that true...I've settled on staging my seekers on a smaller shelf directly above my main collection.

MT probably didn't think the hollow wings were a big deal until people complained. So now they're offering an upgrade.

Sounds good to me....I'll buy a set.

Regarding replacing the head. I swapped out Meteor's head with a KBB Thundercracker's head but it looks too big.
Pics I see of other replacement heads look like a good size. Do the KBB Seekers have bigger heads than the official Seekers?

I can live with the wings but I wish they had done a new head. The paint really is too dark on Meteor and yeah I hear you can toss on a Skywarp or Thundercracker (neither of which I bought from MT's) but it's still the wrong color.

That I would have paid for.

I may be wrong and am too lazy to read through this thread [so shame on me] but I seem to recall a, "yeah they're hollow... but that's how we opted to sell it, what can we do about it now?" attitude when images of the back of the figure first came about. Now, this much later, "fixing" it.

They used to be better about listening to their fanbase in the first place. Or they at least seemed to be.

I could almost make that happen, actually...my grandfather has a huge wood-working shop and hand-made the shelf I'm using for my main display at the moment. Sadly, he's suffered a few strokes, I kick myself for not utilizing his skills more when I was a kid, dude was a craftsman. Either way, after replacing his head I actually quite like Meteor as he is, I'll probably just have to buy a stand or find a solid glass cup to balance him on whenever I decide to switch him to alt mode again.

I'm in for a set for all three, because I want them and am willing to pay them, simple as that.

I almost misread that as you replaced your grand father's head. *sad and funny at the same time*

I'm with @mikeszekely on this one. Yup Meteor was shown with fillers as a prototype and yup they were shown without as it moved further into production. It was a prototype, products change as they go into development. The final Meteor was functional and the wing fillers are pure aesthetic. This has happened with other manufacturers. GT's Devy springs to mind also. Improving the look of the combiner with the add on kit.

The prototype doesn't really mean jack as expectations could've been adjusted when the fillers were removed for the final products. We're all entitled to our views and there's no wrong or right but to me, the prototype pictured is kinda separate from all of this as we knew it wasn't there for the final product. I believe it's a cost save and these fillers are an optional add on. None of us were tricked into thinking these fillers would be included in the box
