how did they fix the shoulders?
I have cheetor and was bummed the shoulders kind of float.
but it does allow for more articulation like in a figuarts drop down shoulder joint
so the figure can shrug and sink their shoulders

oh ya i hate that peg on my cheetor. i dont' feel comfortable using it at all
and prefer to let the legs just sit/float back there without snapping them together

I bought it from Kapow. I’ve had it a couple of weeks or so and this was about the fourth time it had been transformed. I won’t be attempting to return it though. The folk at Kapow are very good people and it’s hardly their fault.

If anything I blame Takara as those shoulder pieces are a very fragile design. I’ll be keeping my eye on shapeways.

It seems like Primal is the only BW MP that doesn't have any crippling flaws .

That sucks. I've still got mine at BBTS in my Pile of Loot, too. I'm kinda having second thoughts now.

Ah man, this really makes the sting created by the lack of Cheetor's availability worse.

I got mine in yesterday and I’m over the moon with him, I hope takara add the same little improvements to the cheetor reissue :)

Some things where tight that weren’t tight on cheetor, and some things are vastly improved such as the shoulders, the rotation on the bicep is so smooth, the hinges on the forearms are nice and Smooth as well. Overall it’s a really nice figure and I’m loving it :)

The only bad thing was it didn’t come with the collectors coin and he also came with two sets of eyes facing the same way, I ordered from @ShowZStore on AliExpress and texted them yesterday, still waiting on a reply

    Ebay:

Just opened mine this morning and the same thing happened on the first transformation. I've contacted TCP for a replacement but now I'm a little concerned this may be common. The yellow plastic used feels very dry/brittle.

    Yikes, that sucks.
Looks like it's the same plastic as the connection piece of Cheetor's arm guards. Dry/brittle would be a good way to describe it.

Yep. I am willing to bet that TT did another run of Cheetor together with this one. They are just waiting for a good time to announce the reissue.

This is one of those case where using metal would be a much better idea. That part is far too thin and delicate to be made of plastic.

How can such expensive toys be so easily breakable? I wish I could afford these BW MPs, but knowing how prone to breakage they are really makes me glad I can't afford them if this is what to expect. They look amazing, but seem to be not worth the money.

MP Primal is pretty good without any major issue. The other BW MP on the other hand - esp Cheetor and Dinobot - are plagued with crippling flaws and durability issues.

Mate that sucks. I’m really sorry for your bad luck - I know how it feels.

I tried to repair mine but it’s nigh on impossible to glue that piece and have it retain enough strength for movement. It’s a poor show from Takara and as I’ve already said it reminds me of MP9B. I do wonder if certain colour plastics are weaker and more brittle than other colours. Incidently it was the other arm that broke on mine so it’s not isolated to one arm either.

Looks exactly like the TR Weirdwolf hinge that broke on basically every version. Can anyone compare the plastic?
