I’d be perfectly content with the turning the Action Master characters into Targetmasters. We just need Rad to go with Lionizer.

 

Eh, that's debatable. We did get two Powermasters in that line, but they were mainly CW limbs, and then you could only put things in their chest if they had that armor on. Ironically the Powermaster characters we have gotten toys for recently do not have the gimmick at all. I don't expect them to make it where you can't transform the figure without the partner, but all I want is to be able to plug the partners' into their chests without having to add or modify the figure itself. That's my take on it at least.

 

The closest we’ve gotten officially is titans return overlord, he is kind of the ideal way to do it in my opinion

 

Oh yeah, that's right. I was just thinking about regular Powermasters and not the Godmasters, but I agree he replicated the original gimmick in the best way possible. I couldn't even guess who else we are getting in Siege, besides characters who never had an Earth mode at all, but I do hope we at least get a few more HM's, TM's and PM's.

 

They should remake the original Action Masters but give them alt modes.

 

I'd be okay with making them Siege Weaponizers or Takara Style Target Masters. But not Siege style Target Masters...I have to have knees. I'd be excited for Weaponizer Mainframe (Armor) or Banzaitron (I Imagine a bunch of swords axes and shields).

 

Honestly, once we get through with the gimmicks (Ha, i know right?) i would like to see more of a focus towards articulation, and other lines getting the modern treatment. (More ankle tilts! Wrist swivels! Armada!)

 

That is, redone Armada. Not Armada articulation hopefully.

I wouldn't mind if they simply just straight re-released all the Action Masters themselves and put them each on a card. Sell them somewhere in the price point of Titan / Prime Masters and it could move a few units maybe.

Yeah, I want Action master redone with altmodes.
I miss my old Kick-Off Action Master.

Also Micromaster Bases.
Yeah, we had that in Titans Return where leader classes turning into bases as their 3rd mode.

I had a Decepticon Greasepit back then.
And for me, the everyday structure turning into a base is appealing.
But I think Hasbro can't do that now.
Like budget-wise, they'll waste that plastic for transforming bases for a fully transformable figure/character.

I wonder what the Micromasters today's price and size compared to current legend class we have.
Do you still think Siege's Micromasters deserve to have their own Micromaster bases?
Or it's Economically impossible?

I think there are people who argue against counting Overlord as a Duocon, much like they argue against Tigerhawk being a Fuzor, basically because it's never mentioned on their packaging or fiction.

 

I was referring to powermasters, though honestly he does still fit the description of a duocon as well

 

I want them to go crazy with Micromasters. I figure leader class Star Saber & Thunderwing will be a given, but I would love all the other leaders (& maybe some Voyagers) to be updates to the base concept. Throw in Grandus, maybe a leader sized Fort Max and Scorponok for bases, update the original micromaster bases as triple changers of sorts: vehicle, base, & robot that a micromaster can pilot. That's my hope for a Countdown update.

 

Speaking of shockwave, I wonder if perhaps they could use the gimmick from animated to justify his price since they said they were going to mainly use gimmicks that had already been used in the past. As such, have him be able to turn into a giant autobot to do some spying. This could fit in either Seige storyline in my mind, especially if instead of his longarm Prime identity from animated they used his senator design from IDW.

Same! Small scale with a focus on bases and cities has always been my love, I’d really be happy if they focused on it.

I wonder if the micro masters fit on the Titan master pegs. If that functionality were retained and they continued the same slot system for the ramps used on the figures titans returns, I’d be super excited.
