How do I unlock forging? The game is telling me that I need to collect more Bots first. Exactly how many do I need?

 

You can forge as many bots as you want to, provided they’re at least 1 rank below the bot you want to forge it. For example, only 1 and 2 (but not 3 or above) star bots can be forged with a 3 star bot.

 

Has S-1000 (the sharkticon with no specific class and the boss in Chapter 3 Act 5 in story mode) been purchasable in the game before?

 

Cashed in a bunch of Energon on the Discipline Crystal and the only 5* I got was Barricade. But I did finally get my 4* Cyclonus! Pretty happy with my team now - been waiting a long time for Kabam to add Cyclonus.

 

I know that, but thanks anyway. What I'm asking is how many Bots do I need in order to unlock forging? The game won't let me do it until I've collected a certain amount.

I have three 1-Star Bots, four 2-Stars, and one 3-Star. That's eight in total.

 

I have no idea on how many as I started when the game came out but im thinking 7 for the base and 5 more for missions ? have no clue really though.

 

if you clear content from act 1 then procede to act 2. once completed act 2 awards a lot of prizes. Then dont go act 3, but go back to clear (explore 100%) act 1.
at the same time, keep doing the exact same for the special missions. When u get to level 20 you will get more crystals, but if you play it like this, you should get plenty of crystals and crystal shards by the time you get past 20.
Don't Forge your bots until later, as you will get better prizes for duplicates, aswell as that is one of the ways to unlock special abilities (finding a double of same lvl). Eventually, you can manage better the crystal shards you get when forging, which can be useful to buy a crystal with shards. Every time you find a duplicate it adds +5 lvl to the bots special ability, and each of these levels will give you back more crystal shards when/if you decide to 'forge' that bot.
Tbh, forging is a rather marginal 'upgrade' to your bot, (and depends on finding new bots) so it is best kept for your top bots, which will emerge later on in your game. so just keep your extra bots for now maybe?  

 

No, only the 6 normal sharks are playable. We can't get the golden or S-1000

When it comes to forging, I only forge 2 star or below bot with my 3 - 5 star bots. I don't forget my 3 star bots with my 4 star bots, if they are the same character, anymore, since they are useful in arenas.

 

What happens if you get a duplicate of a character with a maxed signature ablity?

 

You only see that you got a dupe plus the shards, chips and alloy. Nothing increases anymore unless you forge into that character until thats also maxed. And if everything is maxed you get the most out of it when you forge it.

 

Not trying to intrude on this forum; but as my forged to fight text to speech videos are made to fit in with my mega-lore playlist, i'd like to share it with this community aswel,
I am proud to present my latest video,
it is a copy paste, of all guido guidi's IDW ancient mythology stories, galvatron spotlight, and (I think...) a piece of RiD or MTMTE (somewhere around episode 30ish?)
I tried to add some special effects, and its supposed to be a follow up on the previous video on the guiding hand, among the contents are:
Nova Prime's Reign,
the reuniting of Omega Supreme with society
the birth of Monstructor
the departure of the Ark/proudstar
finding the Benzuli Expanse.

For reference, I changed the name Ark to Proudstar, so that it can be seen in the playlist with Transformers Devastation.

About the chronology, I tried to omit the 'Galvatron spotlight' 'inconsistencies'
and I suppose that the ending of the previous video (from my playlist) mentioning Alpha Trion's taking custody of the matrix, might be better off after this video.

Anyways, one last thing, after this, I have planned 2 more IDW entries (as text 2 speech) stories to add to the lore movie playlist, which are
-an extract of megatron - monstrosity (the planet of rust section - meeting pentius)
-the return of galvatron and cyclonus from the dead universe.

After this (and a few extracts about megatronus in the past from machinima) all future videos (text 2 speech) will come from Earth Wars, and occasionally Forged to Fight,
so without further ... ok forget it i can't spell it... and if you like it, share it or give it a thumbs up.

 

Finally got him myself. Raiding like crazy paid off.

 

Looks like we get Megatronus on October 4th - can't wait! There's a preview bundle tomorrow.
