No idea. They've never done Transformers before. But their other product has been quite reasonable. It'll probably be comparable to an official Masterpiece.

I hope this company does more movie figures in the future. Maybe a better first trilogy Optimus? Blackout? Sentinel?

I would love to see them do Sentinel with the accuracy they've shown with this mold. Or Sideswipe if they stick to carbots.

My main source of trepidation is to do with the actual company.

This is quite an ambitious project engineering wise for a group with no track record. I'm yet to be convinced that this isnt going to go the same way as the Alien Attack and TFEvo dumpster fires.

The design looks nice and I enjoy the cues it takes from the HA figure, especially in tne chest area. I want this project to succeed because I enjoy the movie aesthetic, but I'll wait a while post release before I think about purchasing this.

TungMung's other projects are quite high-quality, but they've shown no experience prior with transforming robots, so that's certainly questionable as of this time.

I think the whole upper body is just a remold of HA Soundwave. Then I'm betting the new legs just take up the space that used to be the seats for the mini figures.

The chest, shoulders and forearms certainly look like they take a lot of cues from the HA figure, but aren't burdened by the minifigure interaction.

If this is the case I wouldn't mind seeing more 3P companies doing this sort of thing - taking movie figures, and repurposing the space used for gimmicks to give us better alt and robot modes. Imagine how incredible the already amazing Leader Starscream mold could be if the sound box was taken out to slim down the jet mode.

I feel like habro will be using a lot of engineering from the leader class. It is still a brilliant figure!

In all fairness, AA's Firage was pretty great.

The QC on mine was pretty poor, unfortunately. Pins were falling out of it and it shed various plastic bits like the tail lights quick smart.

No thanks. If these guys pull out a Sideswipe, it'll look a million times better than that subpar KO upscale.

TungMung track record is pretty solid thus far, they made the Gokin Krang, Gokin Shredder and the diecast Omegamon X and Dukemon action figures, all of which received raving reviews. Their record is near impeccable,I doubt they would risk their reputation on a half-baked project. They have a lot on their pipeline though, they are also making an alphamon and wargreymon X action figure, with plans for a Dukemon crimson mode farther down the line.

With so much of their attention on the digimon line-up, I wonder if they have any further plans for the TF series.
