Oh man, when I first saw that Azathoth deck I seriously considered getting into Tarot. It and that Lisa Frank Tarot are both pretty fantastic. Along similar lines, I was out at Walgreens one day scouting for exclusives. No luck, but I did see some interesting cards. I picked up the Aurora deck by Bicycle, and they're just so pretty. So pretty in fact that I don't ever use them for playing. I've played about a half a game of solitaire with them and aside from that, I keep them in their gorgeous case and just never touch them.
I don't know if they are any good but these cards look cool too. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079FQJRR...&pd_rd_r=5a868abc-ae0b-11e8-b9b0-b9c4745829eb
Yes but she wanted a Figuarts that would mach what she already head. Someone DMed me a link to 3rd Party black hair parts we are going to get for her so she can convert the one I already had.
Does Vangelus not believe in the HEART OF THE CARDS?! For shame. Oh and Seth my WalMarts here in Baltimore are a desert as well.
All this talk about D&D gets me very curious about the pen and paper RPG genre. Coming from a card game and tabletop background, its always fascinated me because its essentially a mix of fan fiction, improv and gaming. I just can't seem to get past all the numbers crunching which is weird because games like Warmachine and Hordes, Warhammer/Age of Sigmar are essentially number crunching as well.
It's not that bad. There are lots of numbers but most of the time you only have to worry about a few of them. Also if you crate your character on something like https://www.dndbeyond.com/mthen it dose all the calculating for you.
I want to second DnD Beyond as a tool to smooth out the math. It was what helped get my GF to not be intimidated coming in to DnD.
@Vangelus regarding Skytread, I’m surprised you didn’t think of the other possibility of that figure. Which, given the play pattern, might have more in common with Cog than he does POTP Battletrap. I hope I’m wrong. As I’d prefer the two legends. But I could easily see him having a single robot mode, a jet and tank mode, and then being able to break apart into weapons and armor
On a recent podcast @Vangelus mentioned a product that helps stop rubber tyres drying out. Can anyone remember what it was?
