Seems like it. This thread has brought out a lot of people whom I rather not read their comments again. I do feel bad for TFEVO, as they obviously made some wrong choices and mistakes since it was their first time in the 3P market. They did have a lot going for them, and wish everyone who was involved the best of luck in their future endeavors whether it's in bot making or otherwise.

soundwave is apparently being made by an established 3rd party action figure company known for their digimon figures, and they decided to try expanding to transformers.

 

hahah now that will be a great plot twist!!!

 

I got mine yesterday. Understand that many of my transformers never get transformed, and based off what I've read about this guy, I can't see myself ever trying.

But wow he is gorgeous in hand. As a robot display piece, I couldn't be happier (unless he was smaller- he goes much better with my HA scale figures than my mpm- hopefully LA Hire will resolve this).

 

I dun think he is shitting on it.. to be fair, tfevo is already a Shit product to begin with.. shitty transformation, Shitty Qc, shitty paintjob, shitty packaging the list goes on!

Good on RK for getting out ahead of this disaster in the making. IMHO their first release was too ambitious. Just as a for instance; XTB/KFC had at least a few years of releasing smaller and more manageable products before moving into something larger and more complex. Perhaps if TFEVO rebrands or moves forward they should start smaller and build from there.

 

Is there really gonna be a TFEVO Hotfire V2 coming soon? I hope so. Even if I'm getting Lahire from DX9. I want to see TFEVO making their version better. New head sculpt, fixing QC issues and tolerances, and packaging upgrades. I'll still buy, but with new 3Ps, it's,good to wait till the usual YouTube reviewers have had a chance to critique it.

 

Yes. My own personal experience, my frens experience, facts tat major toyshop dropped /cancelled tis crap & also people don't recommend tis figure at all!
But hey, if u like defective toy by all means buy it! It's ur money....

 

The company that's making soundwave has done 3P dimigons some time ago.

 

Did anyone receive the correct stickers for the thighs?

I got two sheets of identical stickers (left, I believe) and would love to swap for the correct ones.

No. That was one of the many issues it had. The stickers ended up getting destroyed when you transformed him anyway.

 

this has dropped down in price a fair bit.. is it worth getting for 299 yuan?
