Hey mags2424, do you know how you intend to attach the aluminum Autobot symbol to your matrix's stand? I am getting ready to order a set and am trying to determine if their sticker backing is enough to permanently hold them on the stand...or whether or not an additional adhesive will be necessary. Any info is appreciated. Thank you!
I will let you know. I am getting my matrix today and expect the symbol this weekend. I do not think it will need more adhesive as the are meant to be attached to cars from what i understand. I will let you know when I get it all together.

Got it today. No symbol yet. Build quality seems ok to me, especially since it will be a display piece. Some nicks and scratches on the stand and the box it came it wasn't in the best shape but it looks awesome. MP Collector, does the crystal in the middle of yours move side to side when the matrix is closed? Also I did not get any card or anything like in the original post.
Great pics but maybe I'll need to find a 1" x 1" symbol? The eBay ones are 2"x2" and that seems like it'll be abit gaudy for the base, for my liking, at least.
Yeah. I am 90% sure the ones I got are the same that process put on his I just like the look of it even though it is 2x2
mags2424~ I was so excited to get this guy in my hands that I posted all that great positive stuff about chimungmung before I took a thorough look at what I had gotten. My box came looking fairly beat up as well, though I wasn't too worried about that on account of what I paid for this thing. However, I now realize that I am missing the collector card that was supposed to be in there as well AND there is a noticeable chip in the plastic on the ball in the center of the matrix. As for the stand...mine looks great, so no complaints there. I did contact chimungmung yesterday about the other stuff and have yet to get a reply. I'll keep you posted. Oh, and you asked about the ball moving around when the thing is closed. Mine does too. I am not sure if that is a defect or not.
So chimungmung has yet to respond to any of my emails. I was mildly irritated before, but honestly expected chimungmung to at least get back to me on the missing card (see previous post). After several unanswered emails, however, I am starting to move into the "never buy from these guys again" camp.
Yeah. I think it was a one time purchase for me too. They had it in stock at a good price that is the only reason I went with them. I am not to pissed off about the card as this is really something I have wanted since seeing the Diamond Select one. And I like this better as it is openable.
Got mine yesterday and it's perfect. Just awaiting to see if Mags sticker looks the same as the one posted earlier.
Sorry I picked up the decals yesterday and just have been crazy busy since i am in the midst of moving. I will try to this weekend. I did look at the decals though and they look to be the right size.
Here you go. Think it looks great. Sticks solid but the top corners of the symbol don't stick cause of the depression in the base. But it isn't coming off anytime soon.
I know it's been 2 years since this toy was talked about, but I actually found a piece of history on it. Seems that when Xiao Red designed this toy for Junkion Blacksmith, they did an online commercial in Chinese to sell the Matrix as a cosplay accessory. Not many third party companies bother to make commercials for their toys. Sadly this was Junkion Blacksmith's last product. Note: It uses a LOT of footage from the 1986 movie. Also, it seems to be blocked in Germany, because YouTube blocks all audio of "The Touch" in Germany for some reason. What did Stan Bush do to piss off Germany? That was me who posted that on reddit lol! I have more info on how I did it. Here is what you need to buy. These are super cheap LEDs and you can get them from Amazon, make sure they are the blue ones. In order of the pictures, its really simple. All you really have to do is tuck the wiring to go around the matrix. Try to get all the wiring tucked as much as you can for a clean look on the back side. Mags2424, where did you get that sticker?
