Is that mpm1 starscream?

 

probably the leader class.
the leader class starscream came with a tattooed deco, and takara's MPM repaint had a grey/camo deco.

 

if they make a studio series jetfire do you guys think it'll be compatible with the current ss prime or do you think they'll sell it as a two pack with a ss prime with more peg holes or something like that to accommodate for the combination? also i don't have an ss prime so i don't really know how the mold could work with jetfire.

if you want one for a reasonable price(about $78 instead of $300 for tattooed or $650 for camo) TF dream factory plans to release an enhanced KO later this month.

they added some accessories and individual finger articulation.

I'm really tempted to get MPM Barricade with the tfsource sale, but I told myself I'd limit MPM buying to just the original 5 autobots and MAYBE a starscream, but here I am, with no major things coming out this month so far despite many promised releases (which have already been delayed over and over), so I'm teetering on the brink.

What should I do?!

 

If you're buying it just to buy because it's on discount, and not because you actually want it, then pass on it.

I'm very much like you, in the sense that I'm only interested in the Autobots, so that's all I buy.

That said, if you can get it at a discount, and think you can make some $$ off of it later down the road, then go for it.

 

Good point. It's not that I don't WANT him. In theory I'd love to own an MPM of most of the movie bots. For the sake of space and money I've chosen to stick to the 5 autobots. However he's only $70 which is just a little more than the cost of the KO, so it's really hard to pass up. I could always sell him later, that's true. I do that a lot.

Mine's hanging out in the exact same place. I just put HA Baricade in the closet finally about a month ago. Still not positive which I like better, but it felt like MPM was the right one to have on the shelf for a while. Like all the MPM's so far- the fine detail work is superior to what proceeded them, but I have mixed feelings on other aspects. (I've never been a huge barricade fan, like a lot of people- never owned any of the deluxes)
