all first run sets of dk06 have the tongue
i emailed tfsource and they dont have the bonus one listed on their site but they said first run sets will have the tongue

So, @blacklai is it worth getting and installing or is the figure fine as-is?

 

I will buy this add-on kit for weapon!!

Hopefully the eta is by the end of this month.

 

The weapons do look nice in robot mode. I don't know if I'll install everything, though.

It's great to finally see a video of the kit and exactly how everything fits together. It looks amazing, my only disappointment is rather minor and I didn't really expect it but I had hoped that the new tail would've had some way to help keep his coat tails tucked underneath in dino mode as that is by far the most frustrating and poorly designed aspect of the figure. The fact that it's on a pin makes it that much harder to try to deal with. Mine has no friction whatsoever and dangles freely unless I try to shove the ends up into the underside of the tail.

I think I would still prefer to get this than the OS. The OS is amazing but 2big4me.

 

Awesome to see that it's actually on track for release! Also, I agree on the whole OS thing.

What turned me off about the OS was it's tail. Too slim and stiff. Not unlike the tail from DNA Designs upgrade kit.

Shame that DNA didn't take the time and effort to fashion new T-Rex arms that are hinged at the elbows.

Hopefully, the upgrade kit will finally be released at least one day before the end of August. I preordered this kit on BBTS in mid July.
