I'm not liking the Silver face on the Stealth version so much. Kinda reminds me of Destro.

Reminds me of Dancouga. Probably because of the placement of those gold panels flanking the red cockpit. And wings, and dual shoulder cannons. Likely not an intentional homage (Dancouga is a bit more grey, rather than black. Plus the characters and designs are not very alike, conceptually, so why?), but that's what immediately came to mind.

Might get the stealth version, budget permitting. No need for Jetfire colours, since I love the Generations Leader to death. But I'm sure I can fit the stealth version in somewhere.

 

I suspect that the Dancouga resemblance is no accident

 

Ah, I know. He can be my Black Shadow, to replace the dinky Universe version. The pointy head antennae look close enough to Black Shadow's crests.

This looks more like the body of a Phase 6er (but won't come anywhere close to fitting inside MMC's Helex).

 

I was thinking the same thing - made a post about how the bot mode reminded me of Dai Battles in a way. Can't find it. Either way, this would look cool in Moonbase colors  

 

Love that they're using a two tone setup of dark grey and pure black.

 

So it looks like his wrist cannons are part of the fast pack. That's great as it means they are removable <3

Pretty great. I'm still waiting for the white version, because getting a black Jetfire gives me Bayformers flashbacks, but he looks awesome in that color scheme too, and I see it selling really well in those colors too.

Black seems better.

Only thing that can top it is army snow colors with camouflage detailing, or maybe even military green with some camouflage detailing.

Although my absolute preferance would've been for a Green/silver Cybertron based deco (which makes for nice camo colours at the same time), I must admit that the black version looks inresistably good.

 

I wish the face was black too. Faceplate head possibly? Not sure if they teased one or not.

 

Totally. Damn, I’m not usually into the random grimdark black versions of things but the Dancouga resemblance is tempting me on this one.

I'd get that black one as a stand alone separate character since it doesnt look at all like Sky/Jetfire anyway.
