since when was he rumored to be with megs? and why would he be with megs? he was never even in the same scene with megs.... and a 2 pack? meh wouldn't work because they would be to small to be in scale with the rest because frenzy would need to be the human alliance scale like we got and scorponok would be maybe 4 to 6 times bigger then the SS one

Takara made a two pack of Rumble (fite me) and buzzsaw to go along with their mp Soundwave, so what makes you think they wouldn't do the same for scorponok and frenzy

 

well thats for G1 one and they always go all out for G1... they don't really do that for the movies since everyone hates them..... if they cared to go all out for the movies to give us characters we would have gotten mohawk dreadbot and onslaught

I don’t want to discourage you but a transforming Frenzy is simply too much to ask for, let alone when he’s meant to be about the size of a Legions class.

 

If any of that were true then we wouldn’t have MPM or studio series. And at the time, g1 masterpiece was under some severe budget restraints to the point that sideswipe almost didn’t include his shoulder cannon.

 

After reading through the last page worth of comments, I'm 100% convinced Frenzy will eventually be sold as part of a 3 pack with Ironhide's removable cannons and Jazz's lower half (the upper half will come with 07 Megs).

 

MPM Ratchet will just be a ziplock bag full of powdered rust.

As ridiculous as it sounds I don’t think it would be out of the ordinary for Hasbro to act like scum and release parts of Jazz in with other MPM figures as a “collect to assemble” type of figure

He's probably referring to Hasbro's Marvel Legends. Doesn't fit with Transformers, but it is a precedent of some sort.

Here's a question: we know Jazz will be Movie 1 Jazz, but what about Megatron and Starscream? We could end up with Tattooscream and Megatruck. Anything to indicate that in the rumors?

 

Oh yeah, I know. I had the hasbro version of Soundwave, but unfortunately the cassettes had assembly errors out of the box so I elected to sell him and hold out for a plus edition.

Hey look we all know how cautious HasTak is with the idea of Gestalts for the Masterpiece lines. Maybe a two piece Masterpiece Gestalt would be meeting them half way and splitting the difference. I mean movie Jazz already has an upper hand with licensing being easier than his G1 counterpart. Some flavor of movie Megs is rumored so the theory could have a leg to stand on.

 

Nice. You got LT02 as well. Good man! I do hope the new MPM Starscream is a bit taller then the leader class. Scale wise, that leader you have is the least largest that will fit with Prime. Certainly he's a bit taller in the movie. I think for the MPM line, as long as they do the cons larger, we should have a well rounded cast from the first film. Wait till they drop ROTF and DOTM..pandemonium will ensue.

Imagine the shit storm once a better and abs added MPM Optimus Prime comes out.
