Yeah, thing is Hasbro's been able to license the Camaro for 11 years straight without a problem. The last official Jeep TF was Alternators Hound/Swindle, IIRC. It's up in the air whether or not they have the right to use the Jeep at the moment, but the advent of my waifu Hound finally getting a Masterpiece, there is some hope for BumbleJeep. (yes i know mp hound hasnt been confirmed to be a licensed jeep but still)

They were redecoed from the Energon Aerialbots. The combined mode isn't great, but they don't look too bad as solo dudes.

I could never figure it out either but I suspect it'll have something to do with the tabs that are meant for DOTM Megatron moreso than any of the three 5mm pegs

 

I just acquired him last week. On the same day I got him, I left him in my pocket and nearly forgot him. Ha ha ha.

I'm not that excited about potentially seeing the 77 camaro in this film. I've been looking at that guy for ten years! I'd rather he keep his beetle form for most of the movie.

The extra accessories are nice but the "take a chunk of kibble and make it a shield" thing is super lazy. He needs a lot of upgrades to the base mold to be closer to the movie.

Perfect. He's only supposed to be 10ft tall so he SHOULD be tiny. Plus he comes with three accessories which makes up for it. I still wish he was more movie accurate but I guess that was unavoidable. My guess is there'll be a way to mod him to get rid of the door wings.

 

MP Hound has the Jeep logo on him, so he’s very likely licensed. Maybe part of the licensing deal involved a Jeep being front and center for a portion of the Bee movie?

The only mod that I'd like to see done to the door wings is for them to be on a ball joint instead of a hinge and for them to be able to fold in half so they look more accurate.

 

Studio Series Ironhide arrived today, capping off my birthday haul of him, Crosshairs, Strafe, and Cogman.

Crosshairs and Strafe both serve their purpose, just being Crosshairs and Strafe. Nothing too special about them. But I do like Strafe’s blue paint job.

Cogman is unique and likable, I adore that head sculpt and paint. I also like the sword.

Ironhide is... definitely not as strong as other entries in Studio Series, mostly due to lack of articulation and deformation. You can’t really pose him too much besides arms up and down, definitely a let down after the likes of Starscream and Megatron. His chest is weak, I don’t like that it doesn’t fold down more. The shoulder kibble you have to fold up could’ve been better as well, it just looks unfinished or something. I DO like the transformation and the vehicle mode, though. The screen accurate paint on the excellent head sculpt, and the screen accurate cannons, are also nice. Ironhide is definitely the whimper-ending of 2018’s Studio Series (pre-Bumblebee anyway). Hopefully next year we get more Megatron’s and Jazz’s, and less Ironhide’s.

I still love the big guy though, so there was no chance in hell I was gonna Skip him. RIP big guy.

 

Out of curiosity, which version of the figure is that? The Movie the Best version? I'm thinking of picking one up myself

Really digging SS Starscream. I think I like him more than the HFTD Leader.

 

this figure is heavily under appreciated.......this thing is badass I know the Voyager has the more accurate cannon but this looks more intimidating. He has that scary giant look which I love while i agree the Voyager is the better figure the leader is a better megatron

 

I really do hope he is shorter than Jazz.. 10 feet tall means he is about the size of the Twins..
And that means they could reshell/reuse the mould to make both Skids and Mudflap!

Just throw in an arm cannon like on Bee and a Chromia or a Elita-1 with them and save Arcee as an extra on SS Sideswipe (i can dream right)

 

yeah the movie the best version, great figure I recommend you to pick one up.

 

Haven't all the MP Autobot cars so far been licensed? I just assumed Hound would be too. It's funny how MP 10 and MPM 4 are both unlicensed, though I'm sure Freightliner and Peterbilt would license them now (AOE Galvatron was a licensed Frieghtliner and I think Peterbilt would agree the series had been more successful than they anticipated).

 

Yeah we haven't gotten a great look at the back yet so I'm not sure how difficult it's going to be, but I hope it's doable.

Do you have him right out of the box or have you transformed him a couple times and figured out how to properly peg in the kibble? Right out the box he's mistransformed.

Do you guys recommend me getting TLK deluxe cogman and AOE voyager galvatron?
