I loosened the screws in his side parts, and applied some shock oil so he doesn't fight so hard when you transform him.
A vast improvement in how he plays.

This is such a beautiful figure, transforming him has been a bear , like I am always out of order with the steps every time

Perhaps today I will mess with him before I get high

Yes things have to be -just so-, but the figure is well worth it. The instructions suck - I've always gotten caught up with the small boiler panels. But for many reasons Bee is my 3PV figure of the year.

Wish I knew to loosen the screws. Ended up snapping one of his shoulder pads during transformation. I've reached out to chosen prime who are going to see if they can get a replacement part but I may consider just buy another copy.

He is one of the most fun, and most affordable 3rd-party figs ever. I hope they continue the line and make more Hearts of Steel characters! If they're anything like Bee, I'll get them all!

He's so much fun that I took him on a trip and lost the little head-reveal flap!

HoS Bumblebee is on his way so I started looking at the other HoS figures which seem to come from MMC. Starscream looks pretty good but you simply can’t find Shockwave for sale and I imagine when one shows up it’ll go for a pretty penny.

Does anyone know if Hot Soldiers will be doing other HoS figures? I was thinking about it and since they did such a nice Bumblebee, maybe they could do a Ravage since they seemed to tussle from time to time. Turn Ravage into a motorcycle?

...opening his package last weekend while my she was messing with my knight morpher collection, i handed centurion over to my wife to transform for the first time, her first non-juvenile figure to figure out on her own with nothing but the instructions for guidance...

...based on my previous experience with mech planet ironhide, i figured hearts of steel bumblebee would be an easy step up for her, but ¡yeek! he's much trickier than i expected!..his instructions were surpringly ambiguous and i had to help her work out several aspects of getting everything arranged, secured, and tabbed-in appropriately, but his engineering, materials, and finishes represent an impressive step up for mech planet...

...i hope they follow up with more figures like centurion; well-done!..

(just, you know, have someone else do the instructions)

Dang, he sold out at TFSource. Still available elsewhere, but I was thinking about replacing mine since I lost a piece just to get the stack to ship.

ravage was never appear on the comic, and never showed on the artwork as well. And also, motorcycle doesn't fit with the era used for the story, so chance of ravage turns into steampunk motorcycle is pretty much zero, even if they does continue HoS series.

I didn’t get into the comic and mythos, I was just going off the top of my head what would be cool to me. Kinda steampunk style with the look of the seekers which I thought went with this series.

The gold repaint would be brilliant. I haven’t seen this stuff but I gotta give the comic a look now.

basically a story of "what if the transformers woke up during industrial revolution era, not modern era". If this is something you dig, then you will enjoy it.

The more I see HoS Shockwave the more I wish for a reissue. The last one seen on eBay went for roughly $300 after shipping which is too rich for my blood.
