I'm not gonna lie. If Hasbro/Takara or any 3rd Party company released a Six/Seven/Eight-bot Seeker combiner like this, it would be good as bought.

    Guuuuuyyyyyyzzzzzzzzzzz~~~~~~~~~

Still, I’d actually like to see this concept or some such of Soundwave & Friends from the deviant art of “F for Feasant Design,” and posted by MechFansToys to their weibo, realized at some scale, some day...

    23257480-9BE9-4133-A25B-DC6E2896DD14.jpeg

I could actually do some due diligence and look up some Megazords and other Super Robots, but I’m just gunna suggest watching Getter Robo Armageddon.

It’s kinda a bummer that few things besides TTGL, Diebuster—oh and New Getter Robo come close to a 20 year old Netflix rental— ya know, from when they mailed DVDs to people’s houses.

At the very least, here’s to hoping that the very first Combiner Team returns with a new anime before the decade is done.

    Oh, that’s perfect! :lol

Now I’d imagine the rest of the seekers would only put up with that in the rare moments when Starscream is living up to his hype.

But, still, the cocaphony that would ensue... :p

Though, honestly, it’s not that hard to imagine for any team that hasn’t combined to do so. You just have them be abandoned or warped into the middle of nowhere. Let them bond a bit and overcome adversity until they face that one challenge that nearly bests them.

But, instead of falling, they form like Voltron and get deep like a navy seal... :D

Shameful as criticizing others for liking things they don't like. Welcome to the fucking world.

Ok, well we have very different wants out of Transformers. I agree that the G1 cartoon has simplistic stories (hey, it was aimed at kids in the 1980s) but I certainly dispute that it is 'garbage'. If it were, it wouldn't have the enduring nostalgia it has. I actually prefer it to Beast Wars for a number of reasons - concept-wise, story-wise and animation-wise. The strange thing is you've then gone on to say you don't care what story is told, so you've kinda undermined your own point.
As for the Dinobots combining, I don't see the point in that either - other than people thinking 'oh, they're part of a team, we should have them combine'... for... reasons.

The concept may make sense in your head, but you've made no effort to explain it or answer my question. All you've done is denigrate widely-loved source material and say your head-canon is awesome. Bravo.

I'm going to start petitioning for shoe-Grimlock.

pretty unfortunate that I need some special color font to show sarcasm.

The first portion of my post was my thoughts.

Second portion was sarcasm because it seems people just want everything to combine, whether it's meant to or not. cannon or not.

I feel we need all new original characters to be used as combiners (like Victorion fan-voted or not she's original)

Characters that were originally intended not to combine, no need to make combiners out of characters that never combined in the first place just because it's the in-thing to do at the time. It ruins the original bios. it ruins the intergrity of the character.

Starscream wouldn't be caught dead combining with any of of the other seekers. It's beneath him. give me a break.

just like megatron or soundwave would never do it. it's beneath them. my point is, the man who wrote out the bios originally back in the 80s to all the transformers characters, did so according what the original toys did in terms of function or looked like. He has a specific vision for each and every toy or drawing he was shown. No need to deviate from the original bios. No need to retcon something that's already a successful established pre-existing character.

If a Seeker combiner team is ever to come to fruition, it should be an all new team of all new never before established characters, a team that was always intended to be a combiner team.

The term Seeker is basically a special team with a specific purpose in mind, like the Wreckers, the Dynabots, etc.

So basically it's NOT limited to just Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Thrust, Dirge and Ramjet. Many others can be under the Seeker banner

The Rainmakers are their own branch of seekers and even that is not limited to just 3 characters (that have entire profiles that were originally created by the fandom)

So why can't there be an entirely new team of Seekers made that is also a combining team? why can't brand new characters be created for the specific purpose of being Combinable Seeker Squadron?

It's totally open. No need to force something, or retcon it. leave it be. Make something entirely new. I mean because YOU CAN doesn't always mean, YOU SHOULD. Hasbro time and time again makes lines FORCING a gimmick, and it almost always fails. Turning Starscream into some combining character was stupid. knowing Starscream as a character, he'd never want that. It doesn't serve hs ego or his agenda. Why do you think he built his own Team (Combaticons) instead of turning himself into a Combiner?

    THAT IS WHAT I MEAN.

Starscream shrinking the Seekers into weapon Minicon teams seems in character. Maybe they move faster by being more compact. And they’d certainly be more subservient.

Also, there was a separate Dynobot Combiner in the Power Core Combiner line with Grimstone.

If a 3P came along and made a slightly nicer version of them but still in their roughly Legends size, that would be pretty cool! :thumb

This is such a hilariously, brilliantly, drive-by judgementally awful post I just had to quote it and laugh.

Yes, judge my childhood, adulthood, and entire history of transformers and other pastimes up to my current age of early 40s despite knowing absolutely nothing of who I am, because I don't think seekers or dinobots should combine. I was having this conversation the other day about extremist fans inhabiting every hobby, and all of my main hobbies are toxified (is that a word?) by stinkfans, the kind of rabid loony who is incapable of a real conversation, just spitting out bile and snark behind anonymity.

My hat is off to you for 1/ using numbers and capitals within your name, in that late 90s elite internet naming convention, and 2/ acting as some judge jury and executioner with absolutely no authority or weight of argument. I absolutely 100% will not see your reply to this, so please either make it good for the crowd, or save your words entirely :D

Lastly, I wouldn't even say my tiny sentence was even all that controversial. The POTP dino combiner is pretty universally heralded as the worst combiner released in years, and no one has attempted (not counting ghost Starscream as a single member of the Galvatronus Unite Warrior set) a proper, actual, seeker combiner ever. Because the characters just dont lend themselves to it at all.

    Ah, Dino-Pope!

I'm in, if it's an original figure. I'd like to keep the original six where they are, and would rather have new characters created for the Seeker team. Still, it also depends on their look, as well as price point!

As many said before, it has to be executed nicely, but in my case, if it's CW compatible, definitely in! Also, those zombie conehead combiners.

On another note, if an insecticon combiner is done, I don't want it humanoid, but a giant centepede!

I would definitely buy these combiners , "ZombieConJetSet'. I really like the design with Ramjet and Thrust as torsos then limbs duplicated to match. The drawing has 2 each Ramjet and Thrust limbs which could be swapped around to build an all Ramjet and all Thrust combiner.

For every reason you pick G1 over BW is the very reason i pick BW over G1. How many garbage old school movies are cult favorites? I don't hate the G1 cartoon but it's def the worse of the TF cartoons(debatable with Heroes or whatever the playschool TFs cartoon is called and that's only debatable as i've not took the time to watch it and therefore can't speak on it) anyways i don't know what it is your looking for in an answer. I want them to combine because combiners are cool, Hastakomy has turned everyone into a headmaster and now a combiner, i mean there's a freaking Starscream torso in the new TFs toy line, so i'm only suggesting taking an idea that obviously TFs thought would be cool and making it cooler by using all 6 seekers to give it better proportions so that they don't have that scramble city height difference and be more like the constructicons but hey if TFs doing it legally isn't enough for you there's no answer that will satiate your palate ;)
