As long as we get a leader Star Saber at some point. Considering the gimmick they've been going with, he's long overdue.

 

Hasbro wolnt release 2 molds of Sideswipe so early on in the first wave.

Is red alert coming without a doubt he's in the artwork just like prowl and wheeljack but reds probably not till wave 3.

 

If Skywarp is being posited as a retailer exclusive, then Red Alert is likely also.

The retailer exclusives in ML and SWB have minimal new tooling and are usually redeco's.

There's absolutely nothing that says skywarp will be a retailer exclusive.

And I same goes for red alert a wave 3 or 4 redeco of Sideswipe seems more likely than an exclusive.

 

Skywarp's absence on the leaked list of Voyagers is the clue.

 

And yet thats only 5 of 6 said to come out during siege we have know idea on the 6th

 

True. But using the same logic as Red Alert not being in wave 2, would also mean that it is unlikely 3/6 Voyagers are the same mold.

My gut says that Red Alert being featured so prominently, as opposed to the seekers - who are just in the 'background', suggests that he's going to be a mainline release rather than an exclusive.

Three Voyager class seeker repaints seems like a surefire way to bore the casual retail consumer that they're trying to get. We've had confirmation, of a kind, that we're getting Starscream and Thundercracker so Skywarp as the exclusive would make sense.

Another thought is that Skywarp is our missing Voyager and that there might be enough retooling with the three seekers to make them mode individualistic looking, at least in robot mode, so that they'd be able to sell them all at retail without worrying about 'buyer fatigue'.

 

If I was Hasbro I'd avoid Seeker fatigue by splitting them up, Thundercracker - Walmart and Skywarp - Target. Both online. So technically both would only take 1 Voyager slot.

 

Yeah, that would have been smarter than what they did with the CW seekers. I really can't wait to see these new seekers. Based on what we've seen of the Autobots, I'm imagining they're going to be very faithful to the G1 style animation in robot mode but with a pretty far out tetrajet alt mode. How they pull that miracle off I can only imagine.

Has anyone else realised we haven’t seen a bumblebee yet? Wouldn’t he be a good choice for this line considering he was the second character seen on screen and had a cybertronian mode
