It’s not often you see Punch transformed the intended way. He was was one of the few I never managed to obtain when I was hunting G1 toys so I am slightly jealous.

 

Hugs! Been feeling a bit low myself today for various reasons. Burnt out, not sleeping well and just overly tired.

Punch is an awesome character concept that has never been realised. He needs a mini series. A proper james bond esque thriller where it turns out his blofeld is actually CounterPunch, gaining sentience. Tf needs more spies! My custom is just about done. Expect pics in the next few days. I must say, this punch looks a lot nicer than my old original. And the shapeways head uses his rebirth face so yey!

 

I'm still sad that DoubleDealer only got a tiny bit of fiction - lovely looking bot/(con) that one is.

 

Both are correct, think i may only pick up the sideswipe as he is still one of my top ten all time favourites, no one knows why he's so popular just like Skywarp they looked way cooler than their exposure warranted. He was just a bot I obsessed about as a boy i mean he's a red Lamborghini without a spoiler, truly spectaculae

Oh! Forget counterpunch, the blofeld role is filled by doubledealer. But his autobot persona is a friend of punch. That's how he stays ahead so much, and feeds bad intel to the bots. This fact is never revealed on page in the mini. But maybe in a future issue. Or revealed tothe reader but not to punch. And it's this continuous bad intel that makes punch start questioning who is in control. Punch or CounterPunch.

Dealer should be best friends with Punch, and Counterpunch with Doubledealer, but neither know that the other is a double agent for the other side.

Every episode/issue ends on a cliffhanger when one is about to discover the other's secret...

I too am feeling exhaustion setting in. The last few months have been non stop for me. Currently trying to find out how to complain to aunts care home. They denied her acres to hospital after a fall claiming it never happened and it was all dehydration induced imagination as there's nothing recorded in her log. After fighting with them and getting her to a&e it turns out she has a fractured spine. Not sure how she's imagined that , which means that the care home staff were actively trying to cover it up.

I had a Go bot Optimus Prime wannabe when I was a kid (still love him  ), then picked up some Robo Machines ones in the late 90's. My Crasher has black stickers instead of blue as seen earlier in the thread. From what I can gather Go bots were released by Tonka, Machine Robo was released by Popy, but only in Japan, and Robo Machines was released by Ban Dai.

It's a crying shame Punch/Counter punch got most story in the Headmasters series.

Christ, it's kinda weird seeing the X-Men as a vanilla team like that, compared to how complicated things have gotten in the last decade or so in the comics. I'm not even a reader of the X titles but have absorbed enough vicariously to have a vague idea of how much of a clusterfuffle it has become.

Agreed on the others (especially Airazor) but does Rattrap need to be MP'd seems decently detailed and the right size in his T30 toy.

 

When there's £100 a pop to be made, TakaraTomy will leave no character unturned in their search for the dollar. Or yen, I suppose, in this case.

I don't suppose anyone has an idea where one might avail oneself of an OTFCC 2004 Exclusive Omega Spear or the Rodeo Magenta Energy Spear besides trawling Ebay and/or taking the US shipping hit?
I have nefarious plans for a spear of such a hue!
