It's been a year now since the new Ducktales has been constantly amazing and always on the verge to become my favorite show ever.
    With yestersday's episode, it is.

Glad to help out, having had a breakage occur on another HT figure 18 months after buying it I know how pissed off I got so I wouldn't want you to go through the same kind of thing.

One other thing with the HT Hulks is that it's possible to fit them on a standard Detolf shelf if you get the pose right. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze but it's doable which is handy as it saves removing a shelf which I initially thought I'd have to do.

If there's a TFN next year I am looking at going to that one so we'll have to meet up and have a chat. I had been looking at going this year but can't manage it. Hope everyone here has a blast though!

    EDIT,
Had a go at one of the base modes,
[IMG]Base mode! by Brendan Mitchell, on Flickr

Transforming the various bits was very straightforward and the end result looks decent enough, I'll have a look at some of the other modes and the extra Diaclone bits during the week.

I know that last picture is Dinobot using his eye lasers, but it looks more like he's got knitting needles stuck in his eyes :lol

Who here knew there was an upgrade kit for classics sideswipe and red alert? Called Heroic Duo? New guns, shoulder cannons and head for RA. It's amazing what you find trawling eBay when bored.

10 years on and still the definitive CHUG Swipe/Alert mold. Even better with the upgrades

Though that could change this year I guess

Technically it's still the only CHUG Swipe/Alert mold. We haven't had one since.

Until the new one in Siege.

    Mornin' all!
Lovely weekends all round? I almost dehydrated from eating 'salt and pepper chips'. More fool me.

On the upside PotP Jazz turned up today.

Gobots sure love their cigs, dun't they? I'm sure I remember Slicks having a John Player & Sons logo, but I can't find any evidence online. Fuck it though. Print the legend.

Yeah, I think an accusation towards me of a degree of ‘lurkness’ would be justified; I pop in to the thread most days at work but never, ever, ever catch up.

I spend a lot of my ‘me’ time now painting WH40K (generally 11-12 at night once the monsters are sorted), and although I continue to scourge local boots and shops for TFs (and WH40K), TF purchases are low due to what I perceive as poor distribution of the recent ranges, and high prices, I bought the cheap Op re-colour off Mr Argoose and 3 bits of the POTP Grim combiner but they are unopened and I am scuppered with the second wave of limbs, may have to break my own rules and order from the lovely Kapow people…

Collection wise I have ditched more than 10 very large boxes of TFs and associated geekiness to my toy dealer, although this appears to have barely made a dent in the piles, and I am buying up what second hand 3p MP I can (just bought Duneraker cheap…interesting colour choice but I enabled myself there due to already have a few of that line),

Second-hand finds have meant I have just completed two more ‘odd-job’ CW combiners.

Thanks for the kind regards all, I still live, and have survived the transformation process into a now-regarded-as-middle-aged-man-boy.

So I just realised last night , some robot toys I had as a kid were possibly gobots. One was a police motorbike and another was a blue spitfirey looking plane.

I don't quite understand the link between Machine Robo, Robo Machine ams gobots.

Were any available in the UK in the 1990s? Is there a succinct guide I could read?
