Soon we'll be just a Trailbreaker away from completing the first five Autobots ever seen on screen

Late to this party, but very pleasantly surprised to see MP Hound is coming! He looks pretty darn good, too!

I picked up Gundog a few months back, and I'm very happy with him so I'm unlikely to pick this up. Still, very exciting to see another character finally released!

Give it a silver face and make those stickers on the shins and wrists optional and SOLD! That green + the chrome looks so much better. In my humble opinion of course.

@TheWarPathGuy - usually people don't come out with sentences like that unless they have some kind of insider source telling them that Trailbreaker and Hoist are coming next.

'we can expect' is very vague, and could imply that someone has told you something. We have an entire thread dedicated to what we can expect, feel free to join in...

No one really told me anyone. I think we can expect trailbreaker and hoist, their easy retools, and it would bring more autobot cars. I am not saying it's granted we'll see them. More of me sharing my opinion.

Didn’t they were mentioned in an interview (magazine) about MP-39?

I’m positive that took place, and I can not see them not happening soon.

Not exactly. It was initially mistranslated. The interviewer asked Takara how they would handle a potential TB/ Hoist given all their differences. Takara never brought it up on their own. They merely answered a question by an interviewer.

I haven't been following the chatter in this thread much, so apologies if it has been discussed already....

But has anyone mentioned how it looks like the head comes folded out from way beyond the actual hood of the vehicle.....probably in an attempt to keep the hood of the jeep uninterrupted with any panels and such? It appears to just "sit" flush atop of the hood.

    Here:

It also looks like it spins on an axis with the windscreen, due to the interior detailing facing the back.

Don’t think anyone has suggested this, but I think the square area on the hood that will contain the autobot logo will be depressible and the floating head will fit in the slot that is created when depressing the hood logo. Similar mechanism to how most of the autobot cars mount their bot mode weapons on the roof of their car modes.

That would be a nice solution for securing his head, though it’s likely there isn’t a square on the hood at all. From looking at photos of the actual J59 Jeep, it’s not a feature of the vehicle. The square on the G1 toy was Hound’s Head, and it seems the approach they’ve used for the MP was done to keep the hood from being broken up.

Hopefully we get some alt mode photos soon so we can get a better idea of how his transformation works! :)
