    One more stretch...

$10k funded with a few hours to go

That means we get all six issues and the first issue has 30 story pages!

    Thanks.

If we can get to $12k before the campaign is up, we'll add an exclusive campaign patch for every pledge of $20+

But honestly you guys have done enough. You're amazing.

The stretch goals are nice, but let's not forgot that the original KS goal was meant to fund a single issue with #2-#6 being stretch goals, and now you're having to fund all 6 issues. Plus some of that money will be going to Basic Bastards and Otomos that could have been sold separately instead of funding the comic.

If you think you can provide more comic pages, more power to you, but I don't think many of us would mind if you just used the extra money to make sure you're not running at a loss or can more readily handle the Yamazuki campaign.

(Also, random question: why is the comic's KS 'creator' Captured Prey instead of Mayhem Mekanics? Just curious, no biggie.)

Some great points, we feel we have it covered. I can do a more detailed break down later in.

The KS creator is Captured Prey instead of Mayhem Mekanics for the same reason that the first campaign was Chosen Prime not Mayhem. We're comprised of Brits and Canadians with HK roots and contacts, but we need a US bank account to set up a campaign in USD as we feel that currency is important to the success of the campaign. Although between the first campaign and this one, Kickstarter have introduced an automatic currency converter which negates that a certain degree.

Is there a way to upgrade your pledge after you have pledged and after you have paid? Would have gone for Otomo, but don't have that much to swing right now.

Kickstarter isn't really geared up for that, and it's all about getting the pledges in up front. Money comes out after campaign. Sorry if that doesn't help you. Feel free to contact us after the campaign and I'll see what I can do.

Kickstarter is a promotional tool in addition to helping fund projects. I'm betting they're trying to get these comics in Diamond Publishing like they did with the Unrustable Bastard figures, and the more money they make on the kickstarter helps them to convince comic shops that the demand for these comics is there once they're made.

Nearly every campaign I've backed has had an option for "bolt-on" additions, inclusive of an extra payment, taken when the backer surveys go out. I'm not sure if they run it through kickstarter itself or an outside platform.

As we did with the first campaign, during the backer survey we'll give you a chance to write-in anything you wanted but didn't pledge for during the campaign. :)

Thought you guys might get a kick out of this... Unrustable Bastards, Aaron Archer approved.

Not only did he know about the product and approve of it, he told us he'd already spoken in a podcast about how we're the guys moving Third Party forward and innovating. Very humbling experience and great positive reinforcement. He seemed very taken aback when I said that up to now we've been a three man operation (with 316 excellent wing-men!)

You guys should definitely be proud.

I wanted a few 1/18 figures to ride the bikes.
Pleased with my selections of Spiderman Noir and Snake Eyes. SM Noir has a great biker look with the goggles and leather. Snake Eyes goes well with Otomo.

So far, the GIJoe figure has the best articulation for sitting in the seat.

Oh and I'm also up for suggestions for more 1/18 scale figures.

    I'll have more pics later.

Hm. I prefer full masked figures (even on transformers I like mouth plates).

Can you suggest any like that? Firefly maybe? That Pursuit of Cobra figure looks pretty cool.
I guess Deadpool would work with Otomo.
    Crossbones could go with Burley.

I do also have a Deathstroke to go with Snake Eyes and Spiderman Noir.

That Deathstroke is nice..can never go wrong with Deadpool either. I really wish I could link stuff but I'm not very computer savvy. I think the pursuit of cobra Croc Master would be a good fit. Shadow Tracker would work great too but he's pretty hard to find. I don't think you can go wrong with the classic BAT trooper either and his colors would match too. My personal favorite are the Iron Grenadiers though..any of them really but the later pursuit of cobra ones were pretty cool looking. I was a little bummed they never released that mold in proper classic colors tho.

    Thanks for the suggestions!
It's no problem, I'll look them up.
Edit: I really like the Iron Grenadier you mentioned. Definitely will try to pick him up. I've already got an idea of how to make them more cohesive.

This is my Deathstroke, he's harder to seat as he has the unremovable sword holster on his back

Man,late night post..can't believe I confused that Crossbones with Deathstroke.  Theyre both pretty cool though. Glad to hear you like the look of The Iron Grenadier troops. They've always been one of my favorites. Just something about those helmets that makes them look kinda sinister.

Ever heard of Jin-Roh the Wolf Brigade?

    That’s an entertaining film.

Stray Dogs and The Red Spectacles however... you might want to go through all of Patlabor before putting up with those.
