Really enjoyed the Don Karnage song, but it should’ve been Jim Cummings singing it and as Don in the first place.
I just love these. And yeah, he made the wise decision to do unboxing videos instead (I will never understand why those are popular... but they are, so I guess it works?) And I laughed at the reveal that Glomgold has actually been there in all of these videos, offscreen, apparently. Also, was that a real cat??? New one is much better, have to say. Better choreography for once! And I just like the new voice better, as I said, having watched it dubbed I have no attachment to Jim Cummings' version. Though, it says "movie version"... there was a Talespin movie?
The pilot episodes are broken up into parts and all lead into each other and were released on VHS as one long movie with no episode breaks.
Had an amusing idea they could do as a gag. Have them all visit London. As they are walking around, behind Scrooge in the background have a familiar blue booth present. Have it open and a duck version of Tennet's Doctor Who walk out. Later in the episode we can see a Matt Smith one run into it wearing a fez and bowtie. Be a fun little background gag. Could get Smith to cameo as a one off villain or acquaintance of Scrooge.
Just watched the recent (US) episode. Spoiler Did Scrooge really think Launchpad would pull it off or was he just desperate to make himself seem like a family man... or is the answer both? Also, poor Webby, literally DUMBstruck that she never got her questions answered... or got to accept the items Scrooge's mom offered her. jD001
Well looks like Magica didn't have anything to do with Della's disappearance. (At least nothing obvious) Della is Spoiler Scrooge made her a spaceship and she stole it for a joyride before it was ready, then got lost in a cosmic storm
Whelp... I guess we know understand why Spoiler Scrooge was depressed in the trailer for the rest of the season. jD001
A very impressive plot twist. Spoiler Even if it's rather similar to Grunkle Stan. Anyway, now that it's been revealed I'm curious as to how they're all going to reconcile and get Della back.
Spoiler I have a thought about the rest of Della's story which also might offer another reason why nobody talks to the boys about their mother: What if Della essentially left BECAUSE of them? From what we've seen of the older Ducks' adventures Della seemed a lot like Scrooge, willing to keep going no matter what happens or how old she gets. But the more "responsible sibling" Donald probably would've insisted that she couldn't keep up this lifestyle with three children on the way. I'm wondering if Della took the Spear as a kind of "last hurrah" adventure before she had to settle down and raise a family. imagine the impact THAT angle would have on the nephews..
Man this was a harsh episode. Scrooge alienated everyone he loves... now he will be alone when Magica comes for the dime (which is likely the next episode).
I have seen nothing that would indicate that. And with ducks laying eggs, to me it seemed she wanted to adventure a bit more in the "while pregnant" period that comes before settling down with kids. What I still wonder about is, who is their father? Donald is their uncle, right, and Della's brother? So who was the dad? The kids never talk about it as if it was a big mystery, so likely they know.
Thanks for the Spoiler Tags guys, last episode I saw was the Other Vault ep... No, Sky Pirates, that's what the DVR recorded this past weekend. Looking forward to what comes next without being spoiled.
Spoiler The ending of this episode with Scrooge reminded me of his very first appearance in the comics. Knowing the creative team, I imagine this was likely intentional. [/ spoiler]
Disney has a official free website where they stream the episodes. Only catch is they require a cable service provider account as a automatic log in.
Thanks. That is unfortunate, as I use the DirectNow app through AT&T, and I no longer have a cable provider.
Here's what I think happened. Spoiler The cosmic storm she flew through, sent her back in time. We know there's going to be time travel next season.[/spoilers]
Spoiler Either back in time or forward in it. Could be she'll land one episode come home expecting to see her eggs hatch and be confronted with the ghost of Duckworth who is carefully trying to break things to her when Scrooge and the kids come bursting in just getting back from their latest adventure. There is also the chance of alternate dimensions (Great way to bring in the real Darkwing)
