There is starscream and ratchet. They are both retools of their dotm counterparts.

Starscrean is literally an OS of the dotm mold. I guess I am probably using the term here differently, I don't know what the one for a direct OS I'd, but y'all get my drift.

 

BeetleBee looks like a fun figure, but I'm disappointed that it seems like every bee from now til the end of time is gonna have that stupid arm-swap gimmick. I was hoping for ankle-tilt too based on that hinge on the inside of the foot but that seems like a no-go. Still very excited to get my hands on him though!

I'd like to see some bots besides bee. It's cool that beetle bee now exists, but Christ, there is is a ton of bee repaints. He has a total of 3 or 4 molds this series, yet 15 different releases. It's a little outta hand.

I don't have a problem with repaints in this line, (I'm actually surprisingly pumped for Shadow Raider The Cleaner) but I feel maybe they should've planned ahead a bit more and put some more easily-repainted molds into the first two waves that could still be screen-accurate like Starscream and Ratchet. But then the only thing I can think about is replacing Stinger with a proper Traxx and repainting it in one of its multiple colors later...

IIRC, the SDCC pics and promo renders both already show off his ankle tilts. ToyFactory is far from what I'd call a reviewer; he was literally handling the toy for the first time. He didn't show off the articulation at all, it could just be tight enough that the joint is easily missed.

 

Just wait for emgo to review it. He is very thorough, and if he misses something, the comment section points it out very quickly.

 

Honestly, I think I might like BumbleBeetle enough to raid ToyFactory's house, take it and his camera and review it myself, just for y'all...

A bit of an unusual question, but can anyone post a picture of SS Optimus Prime and 2007 Movie Deluxe Bonecrusher side by side? I would like to see how well SS Optimus would scale next to Deluxe Bonecrusher.

 

Ever since I saw the movie I questioned how were they able to get those trading card-poster pose like pictures of the bots, and at that kind of quality...
Those guys at CW may not be very bright, but boy they've got the premium package on the marketing department.

 

ROTF Long haul is pretty hard to find. And HFTD Payload won't cut it.

 

And now that you said that, I now feelkinda bad for turning him into Onslaught...

 

Just thinking about those codenames Red Light, Red Lightning and Nitro Blue. Hopefully they mean Shatter Jet, Shatter Car and Dropkick Car. For one thing it is obvious before of Red and Blue. Plus the other codename Blue Light confirms it's Dropkick Helicopter. Here's hoping the next convention tells all.

Another hint is they already have Dropkick in car mode in another toy. Just time will tell.

Oh there's definitely a listing for him, it's just a matter of when.

 

It's actually 'Nitro Blue Lt 1' so I think the Nitro just refers to the Energon Igniter size class (plus the code names are Aussie race horses and there isn't a Nitro Blue).

However if I remember right, Red Light(ning) and Blue Light have both been listed with a 1 or 2, so I'd say it's the number that distinguishes the alt modes, like they did for Bumblebee.
