Is this a catch-all thread for movie figure talk now? Every time I click on this thread I’m hoping for more news or at least discussion about the figure the thread is about.

 

From my experience, the Weijiang mpp prime is better than the official in every single aspect aside from the black windows. Especially in locking the truck together.

The truck mode is quite possible to pull off correctly with Weijiang right out of the box. My first run official is not possible to lock together, even after Mods.

 

This was my experience as well. I had to sand tabs on MPM4 to get them to fit. With LT2 everything fit right away except there's still a gap under the front windows, which doesn't big me as much since the rest goes together well.
I also like LT2 colors better, except for the windows. Three inside of the head had sombre excess plastic I needed to shave off for the face to go on correctly, but it wasn't a big deal. LT2 fixes the forehead gap, too.

He's got new pictures a few pages in and he looks pretty fantastic. Easily beats out ss grimlock, even with the dna upgrades imo.

Trust me, you didn't miss anything. We'Ve been in a blackout again since the review copies went back to UT. No more pics or updates. Just waiting for actual, REAL news about it shipping, or an in-package shot or something.

I can't even count the number of times someone has said "according to [insert their online retailer of choice] he's shipping next month!". I don't care anymore until I see an email from showz saying he's shipped.

 

Lt02 was for me what mpm 4 could have been, bar the articulated hands and the *ahem* ARM GUARD. Still, the fact that the mold actually works and looks good doing it is what sold me on it. Still waiting on that arm guard though, if unique toys could do an upgrade kit with articulated hands and an arm guard, that'd be nice

Reviews are spreading but still no known about release date..damn, most of the upcoming 3p figs were delayed plus the (Off topic) mpm 6

 

Yeah I feel like everything I want and have preordered has been delayed. It's really making me buy stuff I don't need and that's not good. I need something like this to drop already so I can focus on it and not things I can buy now!

 

Yeah man I can empathise with ya. I'm prolly gonna get that TLK deluxe Berserker from the bargain clearance bin to stave off this boredom of waiting & waiting & waiting...

I dont know whats on UT's mind now why still giving figures for reviewers? But not giving release date? Maybe we were right they are updating the fig?

They'll get it out, probably by the end of the year. After all the delays and all these samples, I'd say they're closer than we originally thought they'd be after first hearing of the delays. I'm not sure why UT takes so long to get their products out, but in the end, it's usually worth the wait.

That is unless you own Ragnaros. Then, it's not.
