I'm more into IF's IDW take, but that Magnus looks spectacular. Also, the Beachcomer looks pretty damn nice.

Too bad beachcomber not sd by itself or with huffer instead, cause I don't like the sea spray at all.

    Anyway, common Magnus!!

hzj401 has been selling Inferno and Grapple loose, so maybe they'll do the same with Beachcomber et al. That would solve your problem. :thumb

And a hearty second Re:Magnus! So glad I sold my City Commander, but gosh is the wait going to be excruciating! :poop

Ehh, but everyone is selling inferno and grapple loose, no? Saw it from the chosen prime, they were separate. But I would hope I could indeed get from hz401 separate for beachcomber.

Everyone is selling Grapple and Inferno separately, yes, but by "loose" I meant out of the packaging. So if Beachcomber and Seaspray are packaged together as a two-pack by MST, a seller like hz401 who sells figures loose -- in the aforementioned sense -- would allow you to buy just the figure you want, in this case Beachcomber.

On their Weibo page their latest post says the Seaspray and Beachcomber two pack start shipping this week. I guess that is why the Choosen Prime updated them to Q3.

Sweet! As much as I'm looking forward to getting their Ultra Magnus, I'm happy the next release is of characters I don't already have. Now to tell my wallet the bad news..

I can't wait to see more from them period, I've liked everyone so far, these things are amazing for their size.

Every time this thread front pages, I start thinking "damn, I need to collect Legends scale." That's a dangerous road to travel down...

    Dat Magnus though!

    What do you all think?

I was thinking that the MS Beachcomber and Seaspray along with the Newage bumblebee would probably look and scale better with the MFT legends+ scale than the current Hotsoldiers Bumblebee and Cliffjumper offerings....

I don't know, something about the HS BB and CJ just seem off, these, on the other hand, look pretty impressive.....

Haven't decided on Beachcomber and Seaspray yet. I've got the Hasbro versions in my legends + and they only cost me $10 each. Neither are high on my "duplicate character/multiple scales" list.

I totally agree. New Age BBB with Magic Square figures is a perfect pairing. Now if they would just hurry up and do Cliffjumper.

I know! After that teaser by New Age I thought they would announce Cliffjumper as one five figures they plan to do. With Iron Factory planning to make their own Cliffjumper I now I am hoping for a Legends Cliffjumper war.

That's a cool bit of news, but not helpful to us G1 collectors.

I'm sure NA will do him, unless they've got an agreement with DX9 or MST not to because either of them are. They seem like they're milking their BBB mould with repaints for capital right now. There's yellow, gold, transparent, white and pink. They could do Goldbug in Wasp colors for another easy sell too, but I really want CJ from them.

Yeah, I understand as since BB is their first release they would some lag between their next release. I am hoping for their next teaser something more concrete.
