I think the Hasbro/Takara one still has a hollow back of the truck.
I prefer the Wei Jiang's duel smokestacks too.

The Hasbro one has a slightly better solution for the shoulders and forearms though. size wise this is going to still be smaller than M-01 Commander - who is more or less in AOE colours anyway - I like both and I appreciated the options - it's nice to see the Voyager design getting an imporved upscale though for sure.

 

Well, the movie deco so far. I don't think we've seen what Prime looks like in the BB movie?

 

Leader class, that\'s quite a jump.  Of course, thanks to WJ they already knew the mold could carry it.  Was the WJ version leader or just really huge and goes with nothing?

 

I really hope this comes out here in the States it would be awesome it looks great 
 

 

It's really huge and scales with nothing but goes with everything. Its MP Ultra Magnus/Star Saber size but that's irrelevant.

It's quite possibly the greatest transforming toy ever made.

Is it me, or do the Bay-bots keep "evolving" into more G1-esque modes? Is the movie brand in such bad shape that it NEEDS to look more G1?  

You mean how Hasbro (*until very recently) did not have proper licenses for MOST of their TF alt modes?  

I keep seeing all the hate for that smoking teen, but guess where that teen learned to smoke?  

 

I am SO GETTING THIS. It’s beautiful. I wish we had gotten this back in 2014.

Haha no it doesn't, it's not even the same truck as the one used in AOE. Commander changed it to look more G1 since they are both Freightliners, not a Marmon.

 

If it is a leader class the current leader are usually around 9 inches which would be about the size of mp10. The older leaders around the time of the first movie trilogy were a little bigger at around 12 inches

 

Thanks. That helps with my decision. I can deal with a 9” figure as opposed to say 12”.

Offhand, does anyone know if the MP10 trailer is similar in size and hitch connector to the UFO trailer?

 

Sorry didn't want to look back through 25 pages of posts, but did anyone find pictures of the backside of truck mode to see if they cleaned up or hid the mess back there (kind of like WJ)?

Looks like it is time to search for an MP-10 trailer (probably KO since originals are hard to find) so I'm ready when he comes out!

Has anyone posted a pic of MP BW Cheetor next to AOE Voyager Evasion Mode Optimus Prime, or a current Leader Class figure for a size comparison? If so, can someone point me to the post? If not, can someone do that? Since we saw a pic of this thing near MP BW Shadow Panther (a repaint of Cheetor), then a pic like that would help us to get a better idea of exactly how big this guy really is. Thanks!
