Based off earlier designs/prototypes/renders these all have null rays and just like the Takara versions the shells are covering them. Maketoys loves putting these out cookie cutter so they weapon options will look to the be the same. Thrust will have the proper wing placement but again, I believe it is the Takara/Yes Model solution.

 

I think they will be for all three. Earlier pics show Dirge with normal rays so its all a possibility

They can most likely unplug from the back and thus sit lower. The seeker molds have this as well, but its more so meant for the transformation.

 

Agreed. It's a simple fix that only requires 2 new pieces to be molded with a new pin joint at the hip.
You can even keep the top swivel joint to lift the whole bar piece up. But the lower swivel would still be at the hip and would rotate in the opposite direction as the top swivel so the wing would sit at the waist.
I have done this on my classics seeker and it is no different in terms of applying it to MP figures. As I look at it. It's actually easier on larger figures than it was on the chug I did. So having it just "hang" is simply lazy in general.

 

Hadn't seen the pics from TFCon, very happy to see that Thrust's wings can be set high, which looks much better than the low-slung animation look (yes I know the rest if you prefer the hip-huggers but you are in error). There was no chance I would have bit on him and replaced my Yes Model if it weren't so. Now I'll probably have to pick up him and Dirge (never much cared about Ramjet).

Properly articulated MP hands are available for the MP11 figures but not the MT ones.

 

I am ready for both Thrust and Dirge.

MT did some neat things with their main Seeker trio designs, but nothing about these Coneheads looks better to me than the official ones.

Yup... and faces... and heads... and wing placement on Thrust. But most importantly, the awkward chunky/blockyness that the TT versions have exactly like the toon models. These MT ones are nice efforts and all, but still suffer from looking a little more streamline than they should... just like *every single* 3P attempt that's come before.

Just MY opinion, obviously. If I thought these eclipsed the originals, I'd say so. But looking at the character models and then the figures - TT just nails it better.

 

I am willing to both Thrust and Ramjet if you will play a Dirge.

So just to be clear, these all come with standard null rays on top of the bobs correct...? Also thrust’s wings can be positioned at his hips?

These guys can't come out soon enough. I have the YM KO versions, which I still find superior to the official ones, but they stick out like sore thumbs in my collection. I was rearranging my shelves over the weekend and it became even more evident as I handled them compared to my other MT Seeker trio.
