I actually like the MMC version. (Jesus, I'm starting to get interested in G2 TF.   )

Car mode is a disaster. Bot mode is so so and the face is barely acceptable.

I don't like FT's Arcee but this one is actually making FT's Arcee look good. Ocular Max just doesn't know how to do MP products with the exception of Sphinx. Now, that's a good product. Heck I have 2.

 

This raises many questions. Chief among them; Did she drive through your lounge room?

Only MMC is not doing that.
So let's wait for a few more Arcee's to come by and we might have a real winner.
One that looks like Rouge in robot mode with Azalea's legs. And no body gab like Rouge.
Transforms like Azalea.
And have a good car mode.

 

Upon seeing colored pics of Azalea I am more hyped to get this,strictly speaking this thing oozes sex appeal,more than FT Rouge,I am talking about both robot and car mode.The way MMC gave her car mode more rounded curves instead of straight lines (like FT did) makes this more sporty looking.From what I can see this may be my definitive Arcee for my collection.I may PO a second one after my money comes tomorrow.Sweet A** Fembot!!

Get Rouge. Transforming her sucks but she looks better in both bot and alt mode than Azalea and she's solid.

 

Or don't. There are cheaper ways to punish yourself.

On second thought, do. In fact, buy mine, and I'll use the money to buy Azalea.

You mean this small and unobtrusive hole that isn’t actually very noticeable?

 

The hole and the gap in the sides are inelegant.

 

I am looking at my copy, in person, and frankly, it isnt bothering me. I am buying the MMC version too by the way, but not for this reason at all.

@meisterman , however, looking at your pic, it sure does look huge. Maybe cause the arms are actually in the way and in person, but i am looking at my copy and i just dont feel it like i do looking at your pic. Anyways, i do pose her from the front or at 45 degree angle usually.

Sold my second one to a friend, so if you can sell me your for cheap, i take it off your hands, i need a second one to always have both the one with glasses on her face, and the one with young face on my shelf.

With the MMC one, i will be forced to only have her with the glasses version or the crasy weird angry face maybe (normal one suxed bad), though they sure didnt look as good as FT nor did the overall finish felt prestine in any way near what FT does (at least the test shot suked anyways). That said, i want to have the MMC one with more dynamic posing which she will be able to do better than FT version, and i maybe transform her once or something.


Edit: My real worry with the MMC one once i have it on my shelf is it wont be prestine enough to look great with my Takara / FT / etc MP figures and i will have to sell it at great loss, just like the TW was when i put the FT one on my shelf. And as you know, MMC gives higher price to China, so likely wont be able to find her much cheaper than retail with shipping and flash sale. I am hoping X-transbot also takes a shot at Arcee sooner rather than later, and Takara too.

 

I mean, I could just be used to it but there are plenty of MP type figures that have just as large or larger gaps and nobody seems to care. Not sure why everyone suddenly cares with Arcee.
