since I barely started going to out of state conventions last year, will have to make this another out of state convention I also attend, since he is 81, gotta meet him while he is still around!

 

So the dates for this convention is the 26th, 27th, and 28th... How come they aren't giving any info about Friday? In only seeing early registration for Sat so far.

 

Going off of last year, Friday was primarily Registration pick up, and a few panels happening. Also the customization class, if you signed up for it, took place earlier in the day.

So just to be clear, for an extra $50 you get the option to buy all the exclusives early, and you get to be at the front of the line on Saturday?

 

How in depth is the customization class?

 

Once again, TFCon shows why it’s alive and thriving, while Botcon is gone. $50 for a full weekend pass is very reasonable, leaving room for travel and hotel expenses. Botcon priced itself way out of my budget years ago.

I am so pissed about the date of this convention!!! Appearently my fiance said a \"Transformers Convention\" is NOT a good enough reason to postpone our wedding that we already have planned for that weekend.  It sucks.  She just doesn\'t the importance of Tranformers in my life; I mean she still thinks I\'m joking about naming our first born son Optimus Prime. I may still try to sneak to the convention on Friday before our rehearsal dinner and if I\'m lucky get there for a couple hours on Sunday if the Wife at that points allows me to go...

 

Hold out for the DC dates.

It's not worth that much travel and overnight accommodations to check out the dealer room for a couple of hours. I stayed overnight Friday for DC last year and was back home in PA Saturday night. This year we were just going to drive down Saturday morning but I guess not now.

 

unfortuneately, the date for the convention is on the same weekend as Stan Lee's LA Comic-Con, but no guests have been announced for that one yet, and hopefully Bud Davis is there for all the days, it doesn't say if he is going to be there 1 day or all days of that event.
