There is exactly one UPS guy in my town that, no matter what, has a smile on his face and waves to just about everyone. All the others? Ghouls. But that one guy? Superhero.
So I was on Rebelscum and saw that Bandai had their model kits on display at SDCC. Are they going to finally be bringing them over here?
Bluefin got the rights to bring over the figures too. Before it was just vehicles. Slowly you'll start seeing them state side. I already saw Boba Fett at EB Games in Canada. Vader and FO Stormtrooper are next up here.
Oh shit, EB Games? I'm heading up to one tomorrow. Maybe I'll get lucky. I really would like to get one or two Clone troopers.
Just got back from a short trip and I missed the Solo movie as it was no longer screening at the local cinemas near me... This is the FIRST SW I’ve missed...I really don’t know if I should be sad or happy (wary that the film would be bad). Oh well, the good news is the reissues on some of the older figures. I think I’ll pick up IG-88 as it seems Hasbro has improved its articulation? Not sure on X-Wing Luke as I have the first version and it looks good. The one (X-Wing Luke) at SDCC doesn’t look good...hopefully the final version will be better.
So I just checked out my TRU and man was it a shitshow. No Rex, as I expected, but I was holding out hope regardless. EDIT: And no Wolffe or model kits at EB Games.

Ech, I found one on a Japanese auction site for just below retail price so I just got Rex from there. (and a few other things to eat shipping) Wish I had been paying attention when Wolff came out. Rebelscum says he came out in May so I may have missed my chance.
Sorry to hear that. I've heard the performance of Solo is being deliberately misinterpreted. Fans were mad at TLJ sucking, so they blew off Solo, but they're spinning that as Solo's fault for being closer to the OT than any of them except maybe R1. So now the next movie is going to go even further off the deep end.
Yeah, tbh I was apprehensive about watching the Solo movie but still wanted to watch it when the cinemas was less packed...arrghhh...the 'streak' is gone for me
