Eh, what shelfwarms usually differs a LOT based on the location. I've seen lots of TFs shelfwarming, but not beasties. I saw lots of Whirls, Brainstorms and other T30 voyagers available well into 2016, but no Rhinoxes.

On the other hand, my entire region of Europe never got anything beyond the first one or two waves of T30 deluxes and BW's been HUGE here back in the day, being the first new TF show after the collapse of the Soviet Union. If they were actually available here, the BW/BM deluxes would've sold like hot cakes.

I'm hopeful about these news. Hopefully it won't be BW redecos off chug toys.

Maybe that guy above thinks that BW went back in time IRL to collapse TF sales at the tail end of G1/ most of G2? XD

I live in Southern California, and let me tell you that I see almost nothing shelfwarm Generations-wise. Shelves are usually empty for Generations in my area, due to the figures just getting bought up quickly and then either no other stock in yet or employees just having not stocked the shelves yet.

I’m really hoping that them doing something for BW means that they will be taking increasingly larger and larger steps into other continuities.

Sorry Roadbuster. No disrespect. Snipped your post for length.

I'm aware of what I said. As a kid Transformers didn't die for me until BW. I was aware that Transformers was slowing down bases on what I saw but I felt that it would come back one day. But BW was the death of it to me. Between 1994 and 2009 I bought a grand total of 3 Transformers toys. It took ROTF for me to get back into it. So I actually respect the movies for reviving Transformers even if I think they're largely shitty movies.

Random thought....Depth Charge and Prime Wheeljack are almost the same character.

I was watching a few clips of a certain character and thought, You know what else would be even better then a Deluxe Scorponok and Deluxe Terrorsaur?

Not really. Aside from being loner guys who don't play by the rules much Depthcharge is a more revenge driven a-hole who has no problems flipping the bird to the other Maximals often while Prime Wheeljack is a lot more helpful and loyal to the Autobots in comparison.

Yeah. Wheeljack just has authority issues. Depth Charge is obsessed.

Fans hopes: Whole line of BW figures.

Reality of what will happen: From the episodes of Beast Wars: G1 Optimus Prime sitting in a chair. G1 Soundwave laying on the floor. G1 Megatron there as well. Transparent Ghost Starscream. Hey, these scenes were in Beast Wars.

I would imagine Depth Charge as a Leader Class.

He's as big as Meg's. I'd rather have a Mega or ultra though.

Bay Area where I’m from also never has G1/BW shelfwarm, aside from a couple spammed releases, I’m almost certain it’s the large Asian demo here plus ppl generally being more computer savvy, scalpers know what’s up ...

wellllllll just for old time's sake, this is how I would do it.

BASIC: (a bit larger than Legends. like 4.5-5 inches tall, one head shorter than the average Deluxe)
    *Razorbeast
    *Armordillo
    *Snarl
    *Rattrap
    *Transquito
    *BlackArachnia
    *Scorponok
    *Drill Bit
    *Spittor
    *Quickstrike

    DELUXE:
    *Optimus Primal
    *Cybershark
    *Cheetor
*Tigatron (Cheetor mold slightly upscaled and retooled)
    *Airrazor
    *Polar Claw
    *B'Boom
    *Bonecrusher
    *Terrorsaur
    *Iguanus
    *Tarrantulas
    *Waspinator
    *Snapper
    *Manterror

    VOYAGER:
    *Dinobot
    *Rhinox
    *Inferno
    *Megatron
    *Depth Charge
    *Silverbolt

    LEADER:
    *Rampage
    *Tigerhawk
    *TM2 Megatron

    BONUS:
*Deluxe Bat Optimus vs Croc Megatron (preview set released ahead of the mainline)
    *Grimlock vs BuzzSaw
    *Packrat vs Fractyl

Gimmick: Each figure's head is on a ball joint which can be swapped out for a Battle Mask head. These are transferable within size class.

I'm not a BW fan at all. My mind could be changed if all the alt modes were some kind of techno animal though.

Oh I hope this is an actual thing. It's been a long time coming - and not just because the Beast Era has deserved more recognition over the years.

If it's a sign that other past generations are about to get more time in the sun, then this franchise is going to be all the better for it.

    Oooooh, go on then....

    Masters
    Wave 1:
    • Vok - transforms into Primal's skull mace
    • Scrapmetal - one of Tarantulas' spider drones
    • Buzzsaw - bee that can interact with Deluxe Scorponok
    Wave 2:
    • Diagnostic Drone (Beast Machines)
    • Una - transforms into club or stone axe
    Wave 3:
    • Rav (Beast Machines)
    • Leadfoot - rename of Stampy
    • Barrage - repaint of Scrapmetal
    Wave 4:
    • Mol (Beast Machines)
    • Alpha Vok - repaint of Vok
    • Security Drone - remould of Diagnostic Drone
    Legends
    Wave 1:
    • Rattrap
    • Quickstrike
    • Razorbeast
    • Insecticon
    Wave 2:
    • Airrazor
    • Packrat - Rattrap repaint
    • Armourhide - heavy remould of Razorbeast homaging mix of Armordillo and G1 Ironhide
    Wave 3:
    • Skrapnel - repaint of Insecticon
    Wave 4:
    • Obsidian (Beast Machines)
    • Armordillo - in original colour scheme
    Deluxe
    Wave 1:
    • Cheetor
    • Silverbolt
    • Terrorsaur
    • Tarantulas
    Wave 2:
    • Blackarachnia
    • Scorponok
    • Tigatron - Cheetor remould
    • Ravage
    Wave 3:
    • Nightscream (Beast Machines)
    • Ramhorn
    • Silver Streak - rename of eagle Silverbolt to avoid confusion
    Wave 4:
    • Seaclamp
    • Prowl
    • Botanica (Beast Machines)
    Voyager
    Wave 1:
    • Dinobot
    • Optimus Primal - based on mix of S1 design and Beast Machines design
    Wave 2:
    • Inferno
    • Grimlock - Dinobot remould
    Wave 3:
    • Ironhide
    Wave 4:
    • Cicadacon
    Leader
    Wave 1:
    • Megatron - mix of S1 design and Transmetal design in bot mode
    • Tigerhawk
    Wave 2:
    • Primal Prime (Beast Machines) - remould of PoTP Optimal Optimus

.......That's a realistic breakdown of what I could see Hasbro possibly going with - a bit of Beast Machines and G1 nods mixed in with a lot of (mostly show) Beast Wars characters.

There would need to be a second year of toys to fit everyone important in though. ;)

I would love to see them take on Magnaboss and Tripredacus with today's technology. And maybe even see a couple of new Beast combiners.

    Yeah. I want CW compatibility.

And why not? There are ways to get creative if they want to sell them as box sets, or even standalones.

Sounds like those artistic designs that Generation Toy is making into figures.
I can imagine a lot of people buying that and repurposing it as a Generations Rescue Bots Optimus Primal.
Video or it didn't happen. ;)
Well, considering that usually when someone tries to "explain" how Beast Wars wouldn't work, it usually involves them just saying that G1 is the only thing that works and such things as Beast Wars fans having to just wait/get over it or something.
Pretty much. I saw only one single Rattrap sit on the shelves here and one single Tankor, as well as 1 or 2 Rhinox's.
Pretty sure he literally said he disliked Beast Wars once...
    Yeah, that was it.
And now you're just ignoring factual evidence right in front of your face to support your argument. In the meantime, we'll all be in here, imagining what could be, and sniffing out every piece of news about this potential line that we can. (And before someone suddenly decides to lump me in some category, I was 1 when Beast Wars came out, so I didn't grow up with it, no nostalgia goggles here or whatever).
Still strange considering it saved the franchise we all love.
Probably because they did the very thing most Transformers fans hate: Break the status quo. A lot of people want the same old thing every single time, but Beast Wars did something different, and the movies tried their own stories too, and everyone wrote them off and hated them, and the main reason you hear is that it's "Not like G1". Might be the biggest reason I love Shattered Glass so much, because it's so dang different and fun as heck.
    That too. :lolol
Well, can't blame the guy. All his friends were cannibalized by a nightmarish, experimental freak. :lol
If they do the whole scaling thing that Studio Series is doing and that the WFC trilogy is going to do, then I'd say a large Voyager would probably work best.
Considering I grew up on The Unicron Trilogy, I would be ALL OVER THAT!!! :lolol
LOVE IT!!! I want to give my money to this! :lol
...WHY HAS NO ONE ELSE THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE?!?!?!?!
But as a Legends Class? Really? Why? He was huge in the show.
Or you could also call him Razorclaw, after his Universe (2003) repaint.
