I'm just picturing a 28 foot prime hanging by little 4 foot arms off a 33 foot grindor. I agree with whoever said every Source says something different. This is annoying.

    Exactly the same here...

Actually, I thought that the main part of the sets were the little cassettes (Not the golden Bumblebees. For me they were there just to justify the inclusion of the set in the SS line). Anyway, both the sets looks extremely unnecessary for a movie collector (in my opinion, of course).

About Dropkick, you are right. He has a lot of cool moulding, but I was talking more about the shape of the robot mode. Many SS figures did a great job replicating the shape of the movie characters, but that doesnt seems to be the case with Dropkick. Too much smooth and chunky parts, I think.

Yes, they did. Both the sets are part of the numbering of the regular line, just like Thundercracker. Vol.1 is 19 and Vol.2 is 20.

Blackout was around 33 feet tall and Grindor was around 55 feet tall iirc

post pics, because as far as I can see those tiny t-rex arms look ridiculous.
I disagree completely. Only improvement I see is better paint.

Well, user Red Goblin made charts himself. Many try to proclaim that he's completely off and wrong as wrong can be, but anyone with a brain that does their own research will find that his sizes are pretty dang close to accurate. Here's his Decepticons chart:

Somehow, I think they couldn't get licensing for Shatter and Dropkick, so they may just be Helicopter and Jet in Deluxe form.

    That would just be lazy.
The cars look heavily customised IMO, they can just repeat how they got away from Peterblit and Ford's licenses for Optimus and Barricade respectively or perform a Sideways and just create not-so-accurate cars.

Just time will tell. But Hasbro should know that fans want car modes of them.

*facepalms* Wow. Talk about "You just got here?!"...

So, with the inclusion of 2016 Camaro Bumblebee in the SS line (now it makes even more sense as to why they reused the parts they did between '16 and '70s models...) we can pretty much assume that TLK toys are SS figures, at least the precursor.

It would explain Voyagers Optimus, Megatron and Scorn. Right under my nose the entire time and I missed that 2016 Camaro Bumblebee was in the SS line. Insane.

We went from Rethink Your Heroes to Rethink Your Toys

Now I'm imagining Sir Anthony Hopkins proclaiming "THEY HAVE BEEN HERE FOREVER" while in his study room filled with TLK toys and diagrams/CAD files of the figures

Well given they're doing straight G1 rereleases, they could've just put the cassettes in that line. The whole packaging is Bumblebee-centric. The cassettes are a big draw for some collectors, sure, but they're there because Hasbro seem to have this '80s retro = tapes' thing going on, hence the Target exclusives with Soundwave and Bumblebee with the TR not-really-cassette bots. At least they're a better addition than a bit of tyre like last year's exclusive lol

So, with the inclusion of 2016 Camaro Bumblebee in the SS line (now it makes even more sense as to why they reused the parts they did between '16 and '70s models...) we can pretty much assume that TLK toys are SS figures, at least the precursor.

Not really. The TLK figures aren't even at the same scale (for example, leader Megatron is about the same height as Grimlock, Sqweeks is almost as tall as Jazz and Scorn should be at least as big as Grimlock but is much smaller). If you look at the two pack, the TLK figure is the size of a regular deluxe. They just reused the engineering for the SS figure because I suppose there was little point in developing something totally different when they were being worked on at the same sort of time. They've just done what they always do: an 'evolution' pack with an older figure bundled in with a new one. The TLK line was the first to use the cad files, granted, but it don't think that makes the figures for into Studio Series.
Even if they couldn't they could still make altered car modes like TLK Barricade or every version of Trilogy Optimus. Dropkick has a car mode in the main Bumblebee line so we might just get a SS version. They're probably just throwing in the aircraft mode figures early to mix it up a bit so it's not all cars.

I'm thrilled by the prospect of getting two figures each for both Dropkick and Shatter. I personally don't like triple-changing toys, so dividing the modes up sounds like a good way to keep each representation of the character consistent and with a solid-looking vehicle, and Dropkick's vehicle mode looks stellar.

EDIT: Looking at some of the other images of Titan Changer Shatter, it almost looks like her third mode is Flanker variant. Of course it could just be a toyification of the Harrier... I guess time will tell.

Which three? Bumblebee looks as expected, Dropkick looks ok, but a car version will probably look better.

I've realised what's wrong with Ratchet. Aside from the arms and hands needing to be completely green, the CG model has more green on the shoulders, which isn't possible because the vehicle is all white/grey on that section. The only great bit is his face which is better painted than the MV1 deco.
