@Kuma Style yeah, I especially like the side of box art on the 3 Rcore figures, lining them up to get the epic big picture is pretty cool.

@Spence I'm willing to take a forum members word seeing as how FP has been radio silent, and their track record as of late hasn't been stellar IMO.
It seems like you have been speaking to the FP team or even consulting for them and defending them. Are you now a part of the FP team? That would restore A LOT of faith for me in FP.
FP is a love/hate relationship for me. I love em because they got me into 3rd party, but started hating them because they really dropped the ball over time. I gave them good will due to all these reveals, but all that good will is dissipating quickly by their lack of communication. Essentially the iron was hot for them to take my money; however, as the iron cools, I'm less likely to be perceptive to FP products even if they are sculpted, engineered and priced right.

Just throwing in a few cents for the sake of giving an alternate opinion here:

    - When you're in a retail environment the main purpose of anyone working there from a customer service perspective is guiding you towards a sale.

    - If I were working retail at a convention and someone asked me about the future availability of an item, you'd bet your bottom dollar that I'd say whatever I could to make them believe that it's only going to be available right now. In fact, if I were a manager and saw an employee at my table telling someone that an item will, "probably be available (time period) at (place to buy.)" I would tell them to leave. Why in the hell would you steer people away from what you're selling? Even though these people working are friendly, they're not your friend or your "bro."

    - These are bulk products meaning that for a large part they don't come back to the store with the employees but rather on separate shipments. I saw on Facebook that Madhaus toys just got their exclusives from the convention today (only sharing that because the store posted it publically.) Give these people time to actually get the stock back and see WHAT they're allocating and how before so that they can make an announcement that they can 100% factually follow through on.

    - The expectation for "communication" from these companies at time is absolutely mind boggling. I own a Note 8 and look forward to the Note 9 which just got a release date announced this month. In the mean time I didn't swear off Samsung products because I wasn't given weekly updates from them about it. It's almost like these 3rd party companies are TOO accessible to the point where the fandom feels entitled to a pretty unrealistic amount of 'news."

There are, though, some similarities between unlicensed toy sales and crowdfunding.

Those similarities also tend to seem more negative, like an incessant clientele and magically vanishing products.

But, if there weren’t some incredible finds, we wouldn’t keep coming back! :D

I love this guy, and really want to get him. My one complaint is that the yellow... is just ok, not great. I'd really prefer a gold paint there to the yellow. Am I alone in that?

I'm not arguing your opinion but I'm in the opposite end of the spectrume because the yellow colored plastic fits more with the solid colors of the Warbot line which doesn't do the golds and chromes and whatnot.

I agree, the yellow and red clash so much with the grey plastic. It looks like one of those figures that you can attach different limbs to different bodies. I get that it's grimlock colors but i matte gold and deeper red would have looked better to me personally.

While gold would have looked spiffy as heck ,the yellow looks REALLY good in hand.

Really wish I had the funds available to grab myself one of these but I just dropped cash on a Dai-Z so I can’t justify it. Absolutely love the mold and this repaint turned out pretty sweet. Not to mention the flip out claws and two chainsaws. Hopefully I can track one down later or grab one of the ConstructionCores instead. Congrats to those who are snagging these!

On a related note... if anyone falls in love with one of the chainsaw options (standard or flaming) and absolutely detests the other, maybe consider PM’ing me with a price if you’d be willing to part with one.
