Could you only vote for one item in this poll? Taking star saber out might really change the voting dynamic. Plus, as stated, this was closer to when Armada was around so time may have changed this percentage as well. Regardless, I was surprised that was 2nd back when that poll was done.

 

I don't think it's "funny" per se. It makes sense. The G1/Japanese G1 fan demographic are generally older, with careers, money, and heavy nostalgia. TF Cybertron is only 13 years old, give or take. Even assuming that there were tons of teenage fans of the show (13-16), you're looking at a fanbase now at age 26-29. Old enough to care, but not necessarily old enough to have cash socked away for this stupidly expensive hobby. A lot of people in that age range are also just now having kids, which hoovers up a lot of your disposable income.

I'm generalizing of course, but since sales in general is all about betting on available markets it's a better gamble to shoot for G1 as opposed to taking risks on the newer stuff.

 

I just want to see, a future G1 masterpiece TF Victory and TF Zone get released sometime in the future. With an official dubbing and straight to DVD release, with Peter Cullen back as OPTIMUS. Later as Super power Master Optimus. And then as Victory Leo. Release the DVDs along with each figure. So we can finally get a completed G1, because many of us never had the Japanese cartoon to enjoy, and there's a lot there that is pretty awesome.

If TE is off giving us the best cartoon accurate MP style bots, and all are good and of high quality, and quality control. I may just buy from them on a continual basis. Lets see how their roll out of Prime goes 1st. But I want to see them tackle Dai Atlas. One of the few Autobot commanders I really wish got more exposure and fleshed out instead of just the OVA presentation we got.

 

True, it's not an accurate picture of fandom demand now, it would be interesting to see what is the choice new fans want today. I want to see personally, more TFZ and TFV era Masterpiece bots.

Wow..96 usd...That like a third of what the TT one will cost.If the materials and paint are on par it will be a much better option..They captioned the essence of tge character with much less effort

That price is insane! If the quality holds up thats cheap enough to where I could actually transform it a bunch without freaking out about breaking or scratching it. Im super excited for this guy. Especially after seeing the full reveal of the v3 TT one. I don't think the TT one looks very good.

 

The only thing I like more about the TT one is the head
