He is kind of boring I guess. But then Sunstreaker was as well until Furman did all the stuff with him in Escalation. Maybe someone could do something like that with Sideswipe. Give him a bit of distinctive history. Edit: I guess Furman did try it with Sideswipe as well. I guess that wasn’t especially expanded upon in the stories that followed.
I just really hate that he always pops up in every series now, just him. I could tolerate his over exposure more if it was him and sunstreaker, not just him all the time
Considering that the next thing coming up is the TF vs Star Trek mini, where the TF side is 100% Sunbow cartoon. He may be in the crowd shots, but he's probably not gonna be doing anything.

Boba Fett is dope as fuck as well. It's we, the fans, who are robbed when dipshit creators don't know how to handle great characters.
My opinion on it: I hope they bring him back in the new Tf series. And hope they will write him better this time/give him a better story (perhaps some dramatic/amusing/etc. siblings stuff with his brother, among other things).
Samesies. I was totally neutral on Sideswipe, he's one of those characters that's just sort of... there, but I'll be damned if I didn't have a lump in my throat by the end of that issue.
i dont remember anything about sideswipe from the cartoon except that he had a jetpack and let optimus borrow it, so i looked him up on tfwiki, and tfwiki said he was a gobot, so, i have revised my original stance, and now hope he is in the new gobots comics TOM SCIOLI's war for gobotron, featuring wingblade & sideswipe
