Well, did you at least make Jeff Bezos even richer at least?

If not, you are just not doing your part for the economy!!!

For me, there was nothing to get from my list of wants

    - Xtransbots Flipout - NOPE
    - Ocular Max Hellion - NOPE
    - Iron Factory DJD first 3 members - NOPE

and no more Ocular Max Riot / Ravage either...

Man that free 10$ gift would have been nice if available in Canada too :(

Laugh I literally slept through this one - but it's always a lesson to plan your purchases - but then much of what I actually want has either vanished off eBay

I wouldn't touch that unless you are 100% certain you won't want a refund - as it says it's non-refundable so you are kinda screwed if you spend it on a chinese scam seller by accident. you seem to just loose the money. (at least they imply that in the terms and conditions) it also implies it only works with a USA delivery address so tha means it's not something you can use to buy any gifts to someone outside America - neither does it mention what happens if you spend less than the balance to the remainder.

So frankly I'd consider those terms and conditions not worth the 10% discount. at least until the terms and conditions are clarified (so if someone buys it perhaps they can do that for the rest of us)

If they just give you money back in some other way fine since it requires paypal- hopefully that would be just to the funds balance - but it really does seem to have some problems in those terms and conditions - that I'd at least want cleared up 1st before being 100% comfortable.

    ----

For those who don't mind checking out via eBay.co.uk Topcashback.co.uk is offering 4% back on eBay Purchases at the moment. So worth the click if it's worth more than the eBay Bucks in some cases.

Bought the $90 for $100 gift card... can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm eagerly waiting for the next flash sale to use the gift card ---- just to see how much I might saved. :D

Yes I do, and I have a Canadian address too. That's why sometime I dip into both sides' ebay flash sales...(and I do feel these sale come a bit too often now.)

It feels weird to say this but Penny 5 is still active on the Austrlian site and I know darn well i've used it more than the alloted times now.
It doesn't even run out until the end of September.

I don't think that's what it's saying. It's saying you can't return the gift card...not that you're shit out of luck with a scam seller.

PS, probably time to take the discussion to the discussion thread till the next flash sale.

Exactly. That’s the term for the purchase of the gift card, not a term on any purchase with the gift card.

Won't let me buy it, says only pre-approved buyers for this seller can add this item to cart or buy it now. No idea what that even means, considering I've got an ebay and a paypal account and they were linked together. Look at that, eBay, saving me money. :D

I am able to buy one so thanks. Should be handy later when combined with 15% off, eBay Bucks, and who knows what else.

Maybe eBay is running a Ponzi scheme now ;)

Ebay is making there money, these sales are probably a drop in the bucket. Ebay charges about 20% sellers fee, plus any addition services, even with the 15% off sale, Ebay still collects there 5% plus. Then Ebay is taking it in with the PayPal fees, so its fees on top of fees, and I am willing to make a wager that it is a small sample size of Ebay users that use these % of coupons compared to the number of actual Ebay buyers. Lastly, anyone ever buy anything off of those select sellers, when Ebay offers those select 20% off sales, I have looked up five different items across three of those sales, and those select sellers prices even with the 20% off is much higher then those sellers who are not covered by the discount.

eBay does not charge seller fees overseas. Some of us buy from those sellers. Maybe overseas sellers are just a drop in the bucket?

I doubt Ebay does not make any profit from overseas sellers, they are probably paying some type of equivalent fee, have to fill up that bucket first before taking away a few drops.

I used to live overseas in Asia, and there was no fee for me, for both listing and closing. Maybe things have changed, but don't think so. eBay is the MAN in the US, but it's an also run in Asia. Same with many US platforms. So they need to attract users through different means.

Sorry to bump this, but I had to give you all my feedback on this:
Just received Skycrow and Steamroll from Baba, and seriously disappointed on how these 2 were packed together.
They were poorly packed and both boxes were crushed against each other.

Flash sale or not, feedback about an experience with a Chinese Ebay seller shouldn't be posted here thus falsely bumping the thread.
Instead this type of post should be posted here:
    China Ebay Seller Check

and/or (for this particular seller) here:
    eBay seller bababobo00712

Other non-flash sale announcement related posts go here:
