Any good rewards?

 

I'm livid. I used to think SA were a bunch of trolls. Now I KNOW they are!!!!

 

Standard 10k spark, 1 two star crystal, 1,000 three star shards, 500 four star shards

 

Yeah, at least there's spark this time but 10k is sub-par with the way they've been giving out as of late. I wrote them a email and gave them a piece of my mind. It's infuriating that they give us these garbage events when bots take millions of XP to level up. I also pointed out that they increased the zone points so they need to increase these events accordingly, at least 15k, maybe 20k. I can handle the combiner glitches, repeated failed prime rushes, Kup nerfings, etc but one thing I won't stand for is BS events that do us zero favors.

 

I'd be fine with 20K.

 

That would be ideal. Any veteran can knock out these 10k's in a day, purely F2P.

 

This must be a pretty widespread issue because our Commander just posted a copy of the email he is sending to Space Ape requesting that the game undergo some changes, such as reducing the XP needed to level up 4*s in the 50 Levels, and/or increasing the amount of XP we get during events.

 

They would be smart to take heed to those change recommendations. One of the biggest spenders in my alliance sent an email to SA threatening to quit and move to the China servers. Word got out that you can buy a full combiner for $3. Granted, it's only a 3-star but considering the amount spent here, it pales in comparison. Honestly, I'd jump to the China server as well if enough of my guys seriously considered it. I would have jumped by now if I didn't already own practically every 4 star.

 

Maybe I'm wrong, but doesn't the money end up in the same place?

I can’t even get an event long enough to get Inferno to 50. Lame. At least I’ll get a 4* crystal so I can dupe it and get a gold core to fuse with my Jazz core.

 

Salt in the wound for me... I need 600 shards for a 4* crystal. Event prizes cap at 500.

 

Man that sucks. Maybe you’ll pull a 3* dupe to push you over the edge.

 

I've switched out Jazz and replaced him with Skyburst. Getting better results in wars now.

 

All they need to do is reduce xp requirements for bots. The numbers are insane, especially with the number of bots out there (and that they keep adding new ones).

I get that they upped the zone points rewarded, as that lets more people reach the top prizes, but it also screws you out of xp, which I think is the "real" reason for said changes.

 

You're absolutely right...my initial response when they first buffed zone point rewards was "wow, this is great!". But now that it makes you blow through events it's more like "wow, where's the XP!?".

Doesn't the China server let you purchase XP boosts during the week? I'm really starting to get fed up w/global.

 

Yeah, they have an paid "xp boost" time. Basically you get to push the button once a day and you get a set time where the xp is multiplied (2x I believe). Yeah, this new scoring structure really sucks for individual events for exactly the reason you mention.

I pulled my 4* from shards today and ended up with a dupe Jumpstream. I got a gold vitality which I promptly fused with my gold G1 Jazz core, trying to get it closer to 15. I'm now not overly motivated to finish the event, but I've got plenty of time. It is a nice break from a stressful top 10 war we had yesterday though.

 

They really need to bring that boost option to Global, that or stop doing these stupid 10k indy's. I've been strictly hitting Z14 this event and prob winning less than 50%, which is fine by me. Maximum return on XP, no medals lost and I can stretch out the event.

How's 4 star inferno? Worth the time/money/effort? I haven't really tried his 3* yet but only because I have other higher priority bots atm.

 

Inferno is shaping up to be awesome for my rush team, at a minimum. I will need to do some testing to see how well he will work on a walk team. The biggest issue is these stupid events as I can't even get him to level 50 with as short as the last two events have been. He's almost to 46, but doubt I can get him to 51 this weekend. With a weekly XP boost, he'd already be there.

 

My luck with 4*s has changed. I got 4* Megatron from a Megatron crystal on Thursday then 4* Mixmaster from a Mixmaster crystal this morning. Lastly, I got Megatron's G1 core from a 4* duped from a 2nd 4* crystal.
