Anybody can take pics with Downbeat in bot mode?

 

I kinda like that G2 packaging....


It would be cool if future G2 recolors from all companies would use the same kind of packaging.

 

I would if I had him available. I seem to be the only one taking any pictures of this guy. Maybe others don’t like him that much... idk. I think he’s a spectacular release. Hard to say if I prefer him over Downbeat.
I even transformed him to bot and back    
I’ll put him back in bot mode again tonight  

 

Which is weird since he supposedly sold out at the show...

 

Not supposedly, it was sold out. Fans got him, maybe they keeping them in the packaging or something, like me, lol

 

I would but it takes a while to get from Canada to the USA

Yup, should take at least 1 week, if not 2. I have shipped to USA before and that is typically the time, and show was just last weekend, so gotta give it that time. Looking forward to your (and others) pic, before i decide to open mine or not, lol

 

Once mine does arrive I can do a shot of all three together  

 

Funny, suddenly I find myself seconding your thoughts on a ToyWorld repaint although needless to say, Zeta would actually be the likelier candidate to release this. One way or another, as someone who collects G2 MPs a G2 Jazz would be great.

 

I'm sure someone will have beat me to it but I'll hook it up as soon as mine comes in in the next few days.

Also if anyone is interested, I'd be willing to trade one of these MISB for the Ocular Max Furor and Riot set MISB or MIB complete.

Edit: Furor came back in stock on PSX so I went ahead and bought them.

Looks like the same mold for Down Beat.   So I guess this is an exclusive and not a second run (which I believe DB is being restocked).

 

Do you think someone will make g2 repros for him so we can mock up our downbeats?

But, even looking at his legs, it has the same space filler where the foot sits and the small white part you have to connect with the semi-circle on the outside. That's not the same mold, or based off it?

Ah, then I figured right. Thought I wasn't going crazy *stares at my Downbeat*.

 

Some quick snaps. I personally like this deco more on Maketoys "jazz" mould for a few reasons. One, G2 Jazz was my Jazz growing up, and he's one of my favourite Autobots. Two, I felt the Downbeat deco was missing details in certain spots (knees and abdomen) and this addresses that.



I do prefer Downbeats shoulder launcher though so I use it on Maestro.

 

...Too California for my tastes.
