what's with the generic looking cracks? have these people never seen a damaged windshield before?

the two holes look really amateur. like somebody heated it up and used a nail to put them there. the resin protruding from the holes like that looks really bad.

 

If it's as good as their Legends size Inferno and Grapple, you've got nothing to worry about.

 

My main concern is the price for this guy, as their Legends figures aren't exactly cheap.  

 

Deciding factor. I figure around at least $130.

 

The big question is does he come with a trailer?

That'll drive the price up big time if he does.

 

Doubt it. If it does, $180 minimum. I'll keep MPP10 at that point.

 

This is bit of a selling point based on those latest 3.0 pics.

Yeah, every new pic of MP OP V3 is making this one and Transform Element's one look better and better.   Honestly, if some company just KO'd MP-10, but retooled all his joints so he had MP Megatron levels of articulation (or as close as possible), reworked his thigh, lower leg, and bicep length, and made a new head that was a tad bit closer to the cartoon model (but not an exact copy), then I'd probably consider that the perfect MP Optimus Prime for me.  

 

Takara should just hire 3p designers... their new stuff is just awful to look at....

 

I’m still so excited for this. Gonna have to sell a few limbs to afford both this and MPM Jazz, but it’ll be worth it for how good this looks while still not using faux parts.

 

There are some 3rd Party designers that freelance for Takara... LOL

as much as i like my mp magnus its one of those that grew on me ! when it was revealed i was really dissapointed because its not what i had pictured an mp magnus looking like at the time , thought it was close but far away from what i wanted and it took for them to make a second facesculpt for the headsculpt to fully grow on me

 

This Prime reminds me of the Prime used in the early -ation IDW comics drawn by EJ Su. He's one of the 2nd G1-ish Primes I saw and he looked great.
Not saying Takara's spin on Prime is bad, but I've grown attached to this one a bit more. I'll be keeping an eye on this.
