    Sorry, man.
The Walmart that had the majority of the wave 3 stuff is doing a large reset, so I'm hoping to see some restocking soon.
If the wave comes in again, or anything else new, I will post it here and help those I can.

Which ones do you need from Wave 3? I can check my local WMs, I've seen them a few times.

Haha, all good and thanks! I’m interested in the Alien, Leo and I’d take the Terminators and Faker but mainly those first two.

Wow, thanks! As mentioned above, the Aien and Leo are the ones I really want. The rest, I'd take if I saw them but NBD. Except Data, I have no interest in Star Trek toys.

I still have a lot of smoothing to do on this, but I figured I'd show the progress here. Since I work on this in my office (when I should probably be working), it takes a long time to make progress. Hell, I have actual commissions I would love to bring in with me, but I'm sure open paints and a Dremel would be frowned upon.
Anyway, Warhammer 40K Genestealer from a Xenomorph, a HALO figure and parts from an actual Genestealer model:

Also going to make an accompanying Death Wing Terminator so I can go full on Space Hulk:

I swear...this is precisely what modern articulated MEGA figures were designed for in my opinion. They are Stikfas or Minimates figures version 3.0 in my opinion. Lovely work thus far.

I'll say this if Mega Construx makes the rumored MOTU playset:

So i have MOTU Beastman on the way and...i'm not really that excited about it. I mention it as that's the feeling (or lack thereof) bad distribution and inflated prices on the secondary market for said figure have left me with. I'm apathetic towards the line and the figure hasn't even arrived yet.

I still love Mega figures but i don't care about themes as much. Everything is just... creative fodder. I would love a pack of solid colour bodies but the distribution on those would likely be crap as well.

Thank goodness for Halo. You can find those everywhere and scavenge the figures for joints.

A solid color set of figures in different colors would be awesome. Problem is Mega hates solid colors and it would probably have swirls and flecks in it for no reason. I worry for the brand, shelf space is extremely limited these days no matter where you go

I'm sorry you feel this way. Heroes is a fantastic line and is definitely not one to feel apathetic about.

Beast man is a fantastic figure. He's a microcosm of the line as a whole. Absolutely amazing detail and articulation in such a small figure.

IMO now that TRU is officially dead and Kmart/Sears (same company) are on life support with a DNR, it would be extremely wise of Target and Walmart to expand their toy sections by a couple of aisles to pick up the business left by TRU.

I kind of think the brand has too many properties going at once. Thin down the number of titles to update and focus on quality.
The Heroes line is pretty nice and nostalgia driven, and with that working for Funko, it seems like a good place to concentrate efforts.
Unfortunately, HALO and CoD still seem to be the spotlight titles, so everything else gets pushed aside or given less focus. I personally find them super dull and repetitive, but they apparently sell.

Honestly, mega did better in the older days as far as the block section goes. The sets we're very creative and fun compaired to the almost straight Lego clone they are going for nowadays. The Minifigures have improved a bunch, but it's almost always the same thing in different colors. The Heroes line at least gives some veriety but even that is starting to repeat itself. Then there is the distribution part.... I don't see the brand lasting another 2 years at the rate it's going...

While I picked up these E&L TMNT mega construx items at discounted prices prior to TRU closing its doors, I was surprised to see them at Ross’ and FiveBelow last weekend, so picked up a copy from each.
    7902942C-1727-4B50-BA55-C61C2AA9843E.jpeg
$3 for each individual at 5below, and ~$6 at Ross for the big box set of shredder & Leonardo (also picked up a set of 4 halo figures for ~$6, just because... meh... At least these generic looks, for that particular set, might be able to be repurposed for something else. At ~$1.50 a figure, not so bad).

The B&W shading for TMNT individuals is lighter than what was in the sets. When I was comparing the individual figures while in store, there were very apparent shading variances for the same character. Way more significant than if a figure was painted sloppily or not. Unfortunately I couldn’t recall if the individuals I purchased months earlier had heavy stain washing or lighter stain washing. That particular store had copies of certain characters that had one or some of each.

Anywho, sharing info in case others were looking for figures at this scale for more reasonable prices.

These sets are well worth those prices. Would love to grab that Shredder/Leo set for that price.

    Ebay:
Out of 3 of my local Five Belows, only one had the TMNT figs (great get for $3 each). However, I found some wave 2 Heroes at 2 local Tuesday Mornings for $2.99 each.

    First Tuesday Morning I hit:

So unfair. None of the local WMs carried past wave 1 of Heroes and I don't have a Tuesday Mornings to check out.
